Lovely friendly place to stay. Very comfortable and relaxing few days here. Nice food and staff all really helpful 😀. Will certainly come back again 😁. Clean room and nice fluffy towels.
Tiny cups in room and I small biscuit each on top of the cup. Very basic welcome snack 😂. We didn't touch them but it didn't really matter as we didn't starve. The food was very good in the hotel 👌.
It was a good location off the sea front with a back way to the front. Good parking and secluded from the road. Beautiful grounds. Breakfast room and other rooms very nice. Swimming pool available for all to use. Clean swimming pool towels available from reception.
Our room number 18 was right at the top of building. Smallish but curtains coming off the runner looked a bit untidy. Furniture a bit shabby.but clean and linen etc.

Staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful
Only downside was breakfast was slightly chaotic due to a coach party having breakfast at the same time which if we had realised would have had our beakfast later - luck of the draw with that one, not any detriment to the hotel or staff!
Lovely overnight stay which set the tone of our holiday as this was our midway stop off

I cannot express how disappointed i was with this Hotel. The room was dirty, furniture broken, wallpaper coming off the walls, Fan provided was overly dirty and dusty. Restaurant was only open for just over an hour for dinner, my food was good however i had to ask for cutlery condiments and a napkin, then had to go the the kitchen myself

It is a very nice hotel with lovely grounds. The staff are welcoming and there is a nice feel to the place. We could walk to the high street in Minehead in 10-15 minutes from the hotel. Previous reviews have mentioned the steep climb coming back from town. We found it ok going through the grounds and garden terracing. We had breakfast and both evening meals during our stay and found the food to be tasty. Thank you to all the staff members for all the hard work.

Although this hotel is a bit dated and needs a bit of TLC (deco wise) it was clean comfortable the Staff were lovely, friendly and polite. We only had bed and breakfast which was cooked fresh every morning while talking to other holiday makers they said that the evening meal was lovely. And thats all that matters really.
The hotel itself is massive with a gym swimming pool sauna and jacuzzi not forgetting a lovely big well kept garden with plenty of outside seating. It is also a 10 minute walk to all the shops and bars/restaurants the harbour itself is not very big and is probably a 15/20 minutes walk with a lovely tea shop and pub.
There was a place called Bleiham gardens (apologies if I got that wrong) which i heard was lovely.
Down on the front there's a steam train you could go on but we wasn't there long enough to explore...
TBH there's not alot not to like at this hotel but there again there would be a few picky ones.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb room. Unusual to find a spa in a 3 star hotel. Plenty of free parking. Very good breakfast.
