I have stayed in this hotel many times over the last 30 years and this is the first time I’ve thought it’s really aged and verging on not being cared for. Needs an update asap!

I had the room on the side of the hotel next to the main A4 road, so traffic noise was a little problematic. But the bed was so comfy that I slept like a log. 4 big pillows.

We didn't eat at the hotel, though we did have drinks from the bar which were fine.
The hotel seemed to be very popular, our stay was very pleasant the hotel was a very large characterful building with a friendly atmosphere. Our room was comfortable, there was good wi-fi and if visiting the area again we would certainly call in again.

Found hairs in the bath on arrival wasnt very clean, not enough towels in room, breakfast was not very good either
Helpful staff, pleasant room with comfortable bed, and bathroom with good shower. Friendly atmosphere in the bar and tasty food at a reasonable price, good breakfast. Would recommend a stay.

A great hotel in a pretty village. Comfortable beds, nicely decorated bedroom, great staff. Clientele is a little contractor-y weekday evenings so we didn’t have dinner there but the menu looked great.

Convenient, comfortable bed, staff very busy but accommodating, free car parking. Good value for money
A lot of contractors stay here during the week so the car park becomes quite parked up and there is a bit of noise early morning when they all leave for work. Some parts of the bedroom and bathroom rather dusty and shower curtain a bit old. Bit of road noise in my bedroom.
The service was great! Had a minor booking issue which was quickly resolved even at 12 am! Also staff very friendly polite and helpfull. Breakfest was also amazing, would recommend it!
The hotel was very hot, and wasnt properly cooled before we came.
