Quiet and sunny
Pros:

Quiet, good selection of restaurants in walking distance. Clean. Beautiful morning sun with a balcony right over the front door. Beautiful fire for a couple to sit beside at the entrance of the hotel and an interesting room of things to purchase instead of minibar etc in each room.

Cons:

I missed that there was no bath in the room description so that disappointed assumption was my own fault. We booked a suite but the lounge area was no more than a corridoor with the couch jammed up against the door facing the fridge and small TV screen with a door width between them. The bedroom was huge with a large very(too) soft bed(with a dip in the centre) in the middle - and large TV opposite. We ordered a suite because we don't like watching TV in the bedroom and because one of us had early morning work to do and didn't want to disturb the other's sleep in. The lounge arrangement did not make for comfortable rugby viewing. The narrow desk was between the couch and the french doors opening to the balcony. The breakfast was in a restaurant a block's walk away, so no slippered hotel breaky. Was fine weather so not too inconvenient. The selection and food was very good. No lift, narrow stairs.

Comfortable room for a quick getaway
Pros:

Really comfy bed and loved the robe. Very spacious room too. Shower was good and had enough pressure to wash long hair!

Cons:

Tv light was too bright but I turned it off at the wall so no issue. Fridge ran a little noisy at times but became white noise after a while.

Pros:

Service was impeccable, staff were lovely & helpful. Room was comfortable and very spacious. Great location within walking distance of cafes/ restaurants, close to airport. Beautiful property.

Once my feedback was received by Caitlin, the smell and sheet situation was addressed immediately.
Pros:

The location was lovely and quiet and close to major 'must see' tourist attractions. Parking was convenient and surrounding gardens were well maintained and provided a peaceful setting.

Cons:

When we first walked into the room there was an unpleasant musty stale smell. We didn't like the fact there was just a comforter on the bed with no top sheet. There was no variation in the height or weight of the pillows. They were all very high and heavy. We will bring our own pillows the next time we stay.
