From the outside a lovely building.
The windows were old and poorly maintained. The room was excessively hot, and no in room safe.
As always, a lovely stay in our favourite hotel in Somerset for our anniversary.
The new summer dinner menu is as fresh and clean as one could wish for. Beautifully presented, wonderful flavours and really friendly staff.
Room No1 has been freshly decorated and is perfect for access to the stunning dining room. Lovely to see the original staff in place which made our stay even better.

I was in UK on the hottest day. There is no air con so the room was too hot to sleep. Very uncomfortable. However there was a table fan provided but it doesn't help it was just too hot inside the room. Having said that this is not the fault of the hotel. It is the weather & I guess all hotels are affected during this period of time.

Every thing is excellent. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are simple and clean and very comfortable. The restaurant is 5 star, with a French menu that is fresh and delicious.
