Beautiful architecture.
Pros:

The building is very attractive from the outside but the rooms are behind the times. But I enjoyed my stay.

Cons:

No air con, bathroom very small and dated.
Breakfast was a little regimental, ie the cooked breakfast appearing before I was ready for it.
But staff friendly.

Comfortable, staff were helpful and friendly, I would stay there again.
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable and so was the pillow. Breakfast for me was a little limited as I am yeast and lactose intolerant so I took my own soya milk. One thing missing from breakfast was fruit. The room was large which was a surprise.

Cons:

The carpet was a little stained.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Comfy bed and plenty of hot water. Milk in fridge for coffee/tea.

Cons:

It was a shame we hadn’t been told that if you book directly you have breakfast included. Everything was excellent. The only things we would have changed was that the soap dispenser is no where near where you sit or lie in the bath - and some bottled water in the fridge would have been welcomed.

Great location
Pros:

Lovely place, nice helpful staff and a great location. The fridge in the room and small bottle of fresh milk was a nice extra, will definitely stay again.

Good budget option if you’re working around the town centre or going to the cricket.
Pros:

Convenient location near the station, town centre and cricket ground. Good breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff.

Cons:

The standard rooms are a bit small. The absence of air conditioning was a bit of a problem.

Great hotel, but just too hot.
Pros:

It was a very nice room, very spacious with a firm but comfortable bed.
Great bathroom facilities.

Cons:

The room was simple too hot. I fan was provided, but just moved the hot air around.
Also, I tried to get a snack and they aren't really providing the adhoc service even though they are equiped for it
