Pros:

TV was not good, didn’t realise you had to get wifi on your phone first. Only saw wifi written late as container with coffee, tea etc was covering part of it

Probably wouldn’t stay again.
Pros:

Room was clean, heating was inadequate. Very noisy, paper thin walls so you can hear everything going on in the room next door, hallway etc. Mini fridge so noisy and the power went off in the whole place at 6.45am.

Cons:

Place itself was nice but it wasn’t welcoming because it was freezing cold. Main door left open for hours. It’s a very old home that could be really nice if more attention to detail.

Pros:

Turned up and saw the shocking run down state of things and that the photos online are misleading and sought a refund as there was no way I was going to stay there. They did not give a refund. Terrible place.

Overnight stay in Remuera
Pros:

The property was close to shopping & dining in Remuera Rd & transport, if needed.
The rooms were rather large & clean & tidy & provided everything you needed. I’d stay here again.

Cons:

There was no lift and we had heavy suitcases.

It was very cold. The living room was completely unheated and given how sparsely furnished the rooms were it was the only place to hang out in comfort, though cold comfort.

Pros:

Good budget hotel close to Auckland City. Bus stops out front, or a ‘level’ 10 minute walk from Remuera Station. Restaurants and shops are only a few metres (half block) away.

Great stay!
Pros:

We love staying here, it has great character and is so close to everything. Also great that there is free parking.

Cons:

The only thing we would suggest is an updated tv. A smart tv so you can watch Netflix or stream to the tv would add a lot more options. The remote didn’t work very well when sitting in bed.
