Colonial Spanish style charm in the heart of the City
Pros:

Wow, what a wonderful gem in the downtown area in San Jose. This place has both character and charm and wish I had a few more days to enjoy. The room was excellent, huge, with swing open balcony doors and small balcony. Magnificient woodwork maintained from original days. Close to all amenities downtown within walking distance. Quaint little dining area off lobby for breakfast, attractive pool in the courtyard which we had no time to enjoy. The free breakfast had many choices and tasty! Definitely will plan a return trip here one day.

Cons:

The old building, we could hear everything in the hall, wondering if we could be heard in the room. Otherwise, we had a great time, no complaints

Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut , Mann kann zu Fuß laufen in die Stadt cca 5 Minuten, leider morgens um 5 fährt die Bahn und hupft die ganze Zeit das man nicht mehr schlafen kann, Frühstück war auch ok halt das übliche was man in Costa Rica morgens ist daher kein großes Auswahl, Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns gut und sicher gefühlt in der Zeit wo wir da waren , das Zimmer hat kein Safe oder Kühlschrank, ist aber klimatisiert und hat auch noch ein Ventilator , er richt leider bisschen muffelig da alles so als ist

C’est un bon plan pour une ou deux nuits.
Pros:

L’hôtel est idéalement situé pour visiter San Jose, juste à côté du centre ville. Le problème, c’est plutôt San Jose! Rien à voir, pas grand chose à faire, du coup on a vite envie de partir …
Le réceptionniste est sympa, le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet à volonté est excellent …

Cons:

La piscine est minuscule, à la vue de tous et ne sert pas à grand chose ..

Nice hotel with great bar en restaurant
Pros:

Great spot in the city, nice building, and the room was good.
Loved the restaurant/bar with a good menu and friendly service.

Cons:

Our toilet space was super small, with glass sliding doors that would cause waking up the other person when using during the night.
Very quiet hotel apart from the regular train passing close by with horns blowing.

Bien para estar en el centro del ciudad y visitar todos los lugares más emblemáticos sin gastar en uber o taxis
Pros:

El personal le doy un 20/10 súper amables y dispuestos a ayudarte en todo momento. De noche y de día. La comida excelente con un desayuno buffet súper!

Cons:

El parking que era un precio diferente según la persona del parking, no la persona del hotel que fue honesto. El wifi que fallaba bastante. Te dejaba colgado y al final tenías que usar tus datos móviles.

Lovely Boutique Hotel
Pros:

Great location if you want to see some central San Jose sights. Breakfast was a very good buffet. We also ate dinner there and it was delicious. Hotel is beautiful with an old world feeling. Staff friendly and helpful.

Cons:

You are right on a noisy street. Bring earplugs if your room is at the front of the hotel. Back area much quieter.
