Great hotel
Pros:

Beautiful hotel. Comfortable bed. Perfect location to access the city centre. Amazing breakfast. 11am checkout. Friendly staff.

Cons:

The shower wasn't as powerful as id like it. A fridge in the room would be a useful addition. I prefer coffee bags to instant coffee.

Sehr spezielles, liebevoll gestaltetes britisches Hotel
Pros:

Ich war mit meiner Teenager-Tochter da. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Besonders schön war das grosszügige Badezimmer und die darin bereit gestellten Pflegeprodukte. Wir haben das Frühstück sehr genossen und auch den wunderschönen Garten, der mit den verschiedenen bequemen Stühlen und Tischen zum Verweilen einlädt.

Cons:

Wenn es eine kleine Abend-Karte gäbe, wäre es für mich perfekt gewesen. Dass es diese nicht gibt, ist aber auf der Website ersichtlich, wir erlebten daher keine negativen Überraschungen.

Nice, friendly atmosphere
Pros:

The staff are friendly, the hotel is nicely decorated and quirky. Lovely garden for sitting out. Good location, 15 mins walk to Minster.

Cons:

As a solo traveller the room (20) was small but adequate for one. Could do with a spotlight to read as the rooms are very dark. Breakfast has gone a bit expensive

Very friendly and helpful staff
Pros:

The resident cat, Teddy, was very affectionate.
Fabulous breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Really good shower in bathroom.

Cons:

We needed more storage for shorts etc. Only 4 coat hangers provided. Very small drawers in furniture and the bases had come apart from the drawer front which meant items kept falling through.

Great location and great staff. Comfortable room and bed.
Pros:

Great location, lovely area, very central. Very good staff, all friendly and helpful. We had a broken window in our room and it was very hot so they moved us to another room straight away, no fuss.

Cons:

Noise of other guests closing doors was quite loud sometimes. Bathroom was very hot, no window. Weather was very hot so this probably made it worse than usual.

A lovely place to settle down at while visiting a lovely city - I would definitely recommend if you’re a fan of old arch

Lovely scenic property, close to the centre but still providing peace and quiet on the evening

Cons:

The cost of the breakfast was a little steep in my opinion for what was offered
