Lovely hotel, which offered great value for money. I booked a classic family room for £1 more than a double, and it gave me an extra bit on the side room with sofa and table. I normally would stay in a premier inn or similar, but this was less expensive, and better quality by far. Thank you.
My only 2 small criticisms (and they are minor!) are 1. There was some cracking to the ceiling above the bath, which would have been easily fixed with some filler and a lick of paint. This didn’t upset me, it’s just one of those attention to detail things. And 2. The lift didn’t match the hotel. As silly as that sounds, the hotel has an upmarket feel to it, and is very luxurious, but the lift is rattly, old, and slow. Time for upgrade me thinks. However, as I say, this didn’t detract from my stay, just made me think.

Convenient for connection with friends who live local to hotel. The meal we shared with our friends in the restaurant was delicious.
It was very warm overnight and opening the window brought road traffic noise into the room.
Excellent comfortable rooms as always. Great location for EV drivers (like me), with large number of fast chargers in the hotel car park.
The normally excellent breakfast on this occasion was not great. Poached eggs were virtually hard boiled & black pudding had been cooked until rock solid. Was tight for time otherwise would have complained.
The property was clean and modern. It was an excellent standard and located centrally to enable us to visit people and places south of Glasgow.
There was nothing we disliked.
