I politely asked if we could have a late checkout to the gentleman who I was interacting with. Another lady off to the side, snapped, " we have teams coming, the latest we can do is 11:30!" Now considering 1) the hotel was less than full based on parking lot the evening prior and the breakfast area basically empty at 7am. 2) if all guests chose to checkout at 11 and all new guests chose to check-in at 3, (both highly unlikely) that would give the hotel 4 hours to turn over the rooms.
The request could have easily been met. But since it was not even considered I will base my next accommodation decision on past experience. We have stayed at that specific location in Spruce Grove many times over the past ten or eleven years. Was always treated well, new manager, new attitude?
The property was clean and well maintained.
The room was very cold when I got there
The ice machine on our floor wasn’t working and having to go to different floors for ice when handicapped was inconvenient
Breakfast was great, coffee ☕️ was fantastic day and night..The location was great atmosphere 👌
When we was in the pool area, Saturday night was to loud,kids hollering and jumping in the pool and parents not calming them down, even though we asked a few times no respect..price of rooms for each person but we got it sorted out
Room overlooked trees/park area; room was clean; beds and pillows were comfortable; pool was good and quiet during the week; walking distance to restaurants. We stayed here for one night as a little staycation. We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves twice which was great. Nice facilities. Good value especially compared to Edmonton. Would definitely stay again!
I didn’t like the eggs and sausage at breakfast -hot foods could be a bit better. The other options were good and there was a variety.
