Very cheep and friendly
Every thing, so convenient to visit and host my ageing brother who lived close by.
Nothing, we had an enjoyable time.
Convenient location to the event I attended.
It's clean, bright and comfortable and love the little balcony so you can sit outside and enjoy the view and/or weather. Have stayed here several times over the years and gone through two lots of room renovations for the better.
Nothing really. Although it was nice to have a microwave in the old days if staying for more than a few nights but not important.
The room was very neat and well presented. The location was nice, on a branch of the river and with a path to the wider river very close by.
I had messaged the hotel before my stay with a question, and it wasn't answered.
On arrival, the staff were a bit abrupt and it didn't feel welcoming.
I was woken up several times by a noisy neighbour in the middle of the night (I acknowledge there was a phone number in the room specifically in case of noisy neighbours, but I didn't use it).
The toilet cistern seemed to have an issue with refilling, as it was very noisy for 10-15 mins after flushing.
Great for an overnight stop great tavern food and service
Nothing for an overnight or 2 then fantastic
i like our little verandah being on the water. we enjoy watching the fish and birds.
we were only there one night. there was nothing to dislike.
Maybe reception desk could have had more signage
Room was extremely clean, view was lovely and staff very friendly. Added bonus was location, food at the tavern was very yummy.
No complaints
River view, balcony, nice vibes in the restaurant, nice cleaning staff, new looking bathroom, very clean, good location, parking near the room.
Some rough patches, such as rotting wood around the roof of the balcony,
lack of any cutlery/bowls/plates/etc (but was available in request and brought to us by the lovely staff)
Well presented conveniently located and competitively priced,We liked the small private balcony overlooking the lake
Although the beds initially felt comfortable we found that after a short period of time they became too soft.
Peaceful location
