Al llegar al hotel nos entregaron la tarjeta de la habitación. Cuando entramos, la puerta estaba completamente abierta y la habitación llena de moscas.

Nos instalamos como pudimos y enseguida notamos que las patas de las camas se movían. Sin embargo, lo peor ocurrió cuando abrimos el agua del lavabo y comprobamos que no desagotaba: el desagüe estaba completamente tapado.

Decidimos ir a recepción para informar del problema y solicitar un cambio de habitación. El encargado, llamado Juan, nos preguntó si ya habíamos entrado en la habitación. Le respondimos que sí, ya que de otro modo no habríamos podido comprobar que el baño estaba en mal estado. Su respuesta fue que, al haber ingresado, no podía cambiarnos de habitación.

Le pedimos entonces que enviara a alguien para destapar el lavabo. Nos contestó que no era necesario, que era normal y que el agua terminaría bajando sola. Ante esta situación, solicitamos la devolución del dinero porque no estábamos dispuestas a alojarnos en esas condiciones. Su respuesta, en un tono muydesagradable, fue un rotundo “no”, añadiendo que “es lo que hay”.


Salimos a pasear y, al regresar, volvimos a abrir el agua del lavabo. Esta vez comenzó a salir suciedad y grasa del desagüe, con un olor realmente desagradable. Bajamos nuevamente a recepción y, gracias a Dios, nos atendió una empleada llamada Leidi, una mujer cubana muy amable. Subió a la habitación con una sopapa y, apenas vio el estado del baño, nos dijo que no podíamos alojarnos allí. Inmediatamente gestionó nuestro cambio de habitación. Estamos muy agradecidas por su amabilidad, profesionalidad y predisposición para resolver el problema.

Lamentablemente, en la nueva habitación fuimos picadas por un insecto negro que vimos sobre la cama. No sabemos si se trataba de una pulga, una garrapata o una chinche.

Además, el olor a cloaca presente en las habitaciones era tan intenso que resultaba difícil respirar.
