Le personnel adorable et les chambres propre et le lit et cousin comfortable
The staff at the hotel was amazing! So friendly and great to talk to. They made us feel so welcome in Vietnam! Probably our favorite part of the experience. If we ever needed anything they were there immediately to help us as well. The room's view was nice - could see the Hang Dau Water Tower right from our window. The location was perfect for us located at the northern end of the Old Quarter. It gave us a quiet spot to go back to within walking distance of all of the shopping, markets, and dining. There is a fantastic Bun Cha street spot located by the hotel. Walking south out of the hotel, first right and at the end of the alley. We went there almost every morning for breakfast. We initially booked this room for one night and ended up staying for six. Overall a great place for the price! We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Hanoi.
The sheets has a few small stains on them. The shower water gets really hot sometimes.. like burning hot.
The location is great close to everything. And the room has a lot of charm for sure. Hotel was a recently refurbished building.
Got old torn towels with holes in them. Contrary to most reviews the host was a bit too rude towards us. And that's an exception since we met the most kind hosts in Vietnam. Although the hotel was near empty our request for additional 30 minutes to pack bags was refused and the room demanded immediately. Pushy towards making additional sales.
EDIT: Rating reduced from 7; after the owner sent many Whatsapp messages to my private number along with CCTV video of us at the venue. This is weird behavior which I have never witnessed before and a breach of privacy. Stay away from this place. Saw other reviews where guests had been DM'd by the host.
Amazing location, rooms were spacious and clean, and Thomas (the owner) is such a lovely guy! He’s happy to help with anything you need. We actually extended our stay as we loved this hotel so much.

We had a wonderful stay at Old Quarter Charm Hotel in Hanoi, and everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the Old Quarter. The entire team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. A special thanks to Thomas at the reception, who went above and beyond to make our trip smooth and enjoyable. He patiently guided us with local tours, sightseeing recommendations, and helpful travel tips throughout our stay. Even after we checked out, Thomas and the hotel team kindly allowed us to store our luggage because our travel schedule didn't match the checkout time, which was a huge help. They also graciously let us use the restroom after checkout before we left for the airport, showing exceptional care and hospitality. We truly felt valued as guests and highly recommend Old Quarter Charm Hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi—we would happily stay here again.

Mr Thomas is an incredible man, he really really took lot of care to us most importantly we have two people who are physically challenged, thomas was there all throughout out journey for any small to biggest help and support.
