Lovely quiet room in a nice part of Dusseldorf
Pros:

The room was got was very quiet and comfortable. The room facilities were excellent. I am often dissatisfied with the showers, etc. in hotel rooms - those in this hotel were so wonderful, I didn't want to leave.

The staff welcomed us with a refreshing drink, perhaps in sympathy for our grueling Deutsche Bahn trip. They were helpful, friendly and kind throughout out stay.

Should I ever come back to Dusseldorf, this hotel will be at the top of my list for accomodations.

Excellent Location
Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Düsseldorf being close to everything.

The service was excellent from the moment we arrived until the moment we left

The rooms were a good size but the walkthrough to the bathroom has built in wardrobes and all the doors open in to each other (but that’s not a major issue if caution is exercised). The rooms were also clean.

On a walking tour I was informed that the building was originally a Monastery and latterly used by the Gestapo although I couldn’t get it confirmed but could easily believe it.

Great overnight stay.
Pros:

Fantastic location to the altstadt.
The room was very quiet in spite of the location in town.

Cons:

I didn’t have breakfast as I thought the price was too high.

Wunderschönes Hotel in perfekter Lage

Lage, Historie des Hotels, Aussstattung, Zimmer Service über das Restaurant

Cons:

Empfang an der Rezeption war freundlich, aber nicht sehr professionell und herzlich. Beispiel: Ich wurde zur Garantie um die KK gebeten, das ist ja üblich, nach dem Einlesen und bestätigen wurde ich dann doch schon aufgefordert zu zahlen, also nochmal von vorne..
Das Hotel hatte auch leider keine Lademöglichkeit fürs Fahrzeug
