Kleine Oase am Lake Tahoe
Pros:

Eine kleines Wohnzimmer mit Couch, die leider nicht ausziehbar war, aber für unsere Kids gereicht hat. Eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirr für exakt 4 Personen. Ein Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Bett. Insgesamt sehr ruhig. Wir hatten Glück und waren Samstag da mit einem "Grab and Go" Frühstück. Sehr leckere Hot Chocolate. Sehr freundliches Personal! Wir würden wiederkommen.

Cons:

Wir waren mit jungen Kindern da. Mit Teenis oder 4 Erwachsenen könnte es ohne echte Schlafcouch ggf. schwierig werden.

Great room, but poor communication and customer service significantly affected our stay.

Overall, I really liked this hotel and especially the studio. It was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. In fact, I thought it would have been a great place to stay for several nights if I hadn't already had another reservation.

Cons:

The only issue at check-in was that there is no 24-hour reception. Guests have to call to get the code for the key box, but when we arrived late in the evening, no one answered the phone number provided in the hotel's message. After several attempts, I finally found a different phone number in the lobby information, and someone answered and gave us the code. It would be very helpful if the hotel ensured the correct phone number is provided and clearly explained where guests can find an alternative contact number if needed.

Unfortunately, the biggest problem happened at check-out. Before leaving the room for breakfast, I double-checked my Booking.com reservation, confirmation emails, and hotel messages, and all of them stated that check-out was at **11:00 AM**. At around **10:00 AM**, while I was out getting breakfast for my family, someone knocked on our door telling my husband it was time to check out. We explained that our reservation clearly showed an 11:00 AM check-out. A short time later, while we were eating breakfast in the room, the housekeeping staff knocked again and insisted that we had to leave immediately. After speaking with the receptionist by phone, I was told that the hotel had changed its check-out time to **10:00 AM** about a month earlier, but this information had never been updated on Booking.com or in any of the emails or messages we received.

Instead of notifying us about the updated check-out time, we were rushed to pack our belongings and leave while we were still eating breakfast. It was stressful and honestly shocking. I have stayed in many hotels and have never experienced being asked to leave an hour earlier than the confirmed check-out time because the hotel failed to update its information.

The room itself was excellent, but the poor communication regarding check-in and especially the incorrect check-out information significantly affected our overall experience.

Best value for your money!! Clean and spacious.
Pros:

Property had all the convenience of home—AC, full kitchen (pots, pan, plates, bowls, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, large fridge, etc), dishwashing detergent,, soap, lotion, shampoo, paper towel, etc. I also had free access to a washer and dryer in the next building. It was easy to call in to get extra towels to the room or have trash picked up. Parking on the premise is free and easy.
The location is a 5-10 minutes drive to heavenly village where all the shops and restaurants are located. Best value for the price! I will definitely book again the next time I visit.

Cons:

It would be nice to be able to access the jacuzzi later. Our family didn’t have a chance to access the jacuzzi since we couldn’t be home before 6:30 pm.
