Spacious, Comfortable Rooms in a Great Ubud Location
Pros:

We had a very enjoyable stay. Our room was extremely comfortable and spacious, with a cozy sitting area featuring a sofa. We also liked having a small kitchenette on the terrace. It was a bit unusual that it had a stovetop but no plates, but this didn't affect our stay. The bathroom was also large and comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, and the food was delicious. Just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, there was a local laundry service where we could have our clothes washed for a very reasonable price, which was very convenient during our trip.

Cons:

We only had breakfast once, as we usually left early for our day trips. Unfortunately, breakfast service was very slow because it was à la carte rather than a buffet. It took about 1.5 hours from start to finish, with long waits between courses. Even the hot dishes, such as the scrambled eggs, arrived cold. This was the only disappointing part of our stay.

Magical villa for those who desire a break from their busy lifestyle.
Pros:

Wow, this place is magical. Budhi means strong and Ayu means beautiful. This is indeed a strong, beautiful villa. I cannot wait to be back. The food is perfect, the staff are helpful and go above and beyond to make your stay the best they possibly can.

Cons:

If I had to nitpick, the walls in the hallways need a fresh coat of paint.

Pros:

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Budhi Ayu Ubud. L'accueil a été chaleureux, l'hospitalité remarquable et le service irréprochable. Le personnel est toujours souriant, disponible et fait tout pour rendre le séjour agréable.

La villa est très belle, spacieuse, avec trois chambres confortables et une superbe piscine privée. Le cadre est magnifique : situé à l'écart du centre d'Ubud, on profite d'un environnement très calme, entouré d'une végétation luxuriante avec des bananiers, papayers, fougères, oiseaux du paradis et de nombreuses fleurs. C'est un véritable havre de paix.

Le petit-déjeuner inclus est correct et apprécié.

Quelques améliorations permettraient toutefois de rendre le séjour encore meilleur : ajouter des veilleuses sur les tables de nuit, un micro-ondes, remplacer les vieux ustensiles et la vaisselle de cuisine qui ne sont pas à la hauteur de la qualité de la villa, améliorer le ménage sous les lits où nous avons trouvé de la poussière, et renforcer l'éclairage de la salle de bain, notamment devant le miroir, où il est difficile de se raser.

Malgré ces quelques détails, nous recommandons cette villa sans hésiter pour son excellent rapport qualité-prix, la gentillesse de son personnel et son cadre exceptionnel.

Comfortable stay, but big red flag on liability waiver
Pros:

Staff is very friendly. Rooms are comfortable and the food at the restaurant is really tasty and beautifully presented. Nice touch that you can try on Balinese clothes, and learn some Indonesian language for free. They also offer a spa room with massages at a fair price.

Cons:

At check-in we were asked to sign a waiver (picture attached), which appeared to be much broader than expected for a hotel check-in. Some points were reasonable (like House rules regarding noise, pets etc). However there was a big red flag in the waiver, where the property is attempting to exclude liability for injury or death! This is likely not fully enforceable if negligence by the property is involved, but regardless, it made me and my company incredible uncomfortable to have to sign this!! It is inappropriate to ask a guest to sign a waiver of rights when it comes to negligence. I would urge the property to adapt this waiver to make it more about house rules only, or remove it completely for future guests.

Lovely place overall
Pros:

Lovely quiet location with beautiful lush gardens and nice pool. Very nice restaurant and lovely spa. Staff were really friendly & helpful.

Cons:

The bathroom was very dark and there was no full length mirror in the room. The stairs up to the room was very dim so hard to navigate at night. One of the pool side sunbeds was broken and nine had cushions so were hard

Ridiculously quiet that you don't want to wake up. Beautiful green area.
