The room and location
Clean well organised staff very friendly
It was okay for our main purpose of somewhere to sleep for a night.
Trying too hard to be shabby chic when the decor, equipment and furniture/ furnishings were not of a good enough standard. The restaurant tables for example were not clean and the materials used weren’t commensurate for adequate quality required to meet expected standards.

My room was up 2 flights of stairs which was fine for me but not great if you have mobility issues. No on-site car park which isn't clear when you book. There is a very reasonably priced public car park very close by. I couldn't get the TV to work which was a shame as England were playing in the world cup

It states parking when u book it but there is no parking, you have to pay and park in a car park.

Nice shower / bathroom and reasonably comfortable room. Cooked breakfast was very good, continental selection bit sparse.
The check in process was inconvenient. We were attending a wedding from 1.00pm to 11.30 pm and had to break at 6.00 pm to make a trip down to the hotel to check in.
I suggest that the £30 supplement to check in after 1.0pm but before 4pm should be looked at.
The TV in one of our rooms did not work. TV instructions could be included.
The local car parking situation could be more clearly described and a map included.
Tea and coffee facilities in breakfast room could be signposted.

Everything was better than expected. Great shower, comfy bed, decent breakfast, friendly staff and the cleaners were great too.

Komplizierter Weg zum Zimmer. Zimmer mit Fenster über der Abluft der Küche- bei offenem Fenster weniger angenehm.
Nach dem duschen war das Bad komplett nass.
