The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable, and located in one of the best places for a first visit to New York — right in the heart of Times Square. The location makes everything very easy: there are several subway stations nearby, many attractions are within walking distance, and it is simple to move around the city from there. There is also a bus nearby to Woodbury Outlet, reasonably priced laundry services within walking distance, and a very good supermarket close to the hotel with fair prices.
The staff were not just excellent — they were the whipped cream and the cherry on top of the whole experience. Everyone was kind, professional, helpful, and genuinely wanted to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. They listened to our requests, offered practical solutions, and explained everything clearly and patiently. The service was great everywhere: reception, housekeeping, the lobby, breakfast area, and the rest of the hotel.
The hotel has a very pleasant and active lobby, a barista, a bar, a nice rooftop, and a good 24-hour gym. The check-in and check-out process is mostly self-service and very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and controlling the room through the iPad was a nice and modern touch. The bed was comfortable, there was a small fridge, a small safe, storage areas, and everything needed for a practical city stay.
Breakfast was good. The variety was not very large, but it was enough to start the day before walking around the city. The coffee was good, and breakfast included hot and cold drinks, scrambled eggs, toast, baked potatoes, roasted cherry tomatoes, jams, chocolate spread, cakes, cheese, salmon, avocado, fruit, cereal, labneh, yogurt, and some other small items.
Another useful feature was the ironing room on the second floor, with air conditioning and a good-quality iron, which helped us a lot during the trip
I stayed on the 8th floor, in two rooms next to each other, and some of the noise from Times Square could still be heard inside the rooms. The sound insulation is not complete. It is important to mention that I stayed during a very busy period, the World Cup period, and also when a New York team won the NBA finals, so the area was especially lively and noisy.
The rooms are quite small and narrow. They are good rooms, but space can be an issue, depending on who is staying in the room and how much luggage you have. The fridge in the room is also very small , approximately 30 cm wide, 30 cm deep, and 20–30 cm high ,so it is useful only for small items. For a couple or one person the room can work well, but for a family sharing one room, or for travelers with many suitcases, it may feel uncomfortable.
The breakfast itself was good, but the main issue was the variety. During the stay, the menu was almost the same every day. So the food was fine and tasty, but more variety would have made the breakfast experience better.
Very central, near a subway station, right off Time Square, super-designed! all controlled through iPad, great breakfast.
