Money went to waste
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Hairdryers should be a necessity in every room. I was charged R200 just to use it
The vending machine that they have does not work, and the reception does not have coke.
Then I was asked to leave breakfast because I had PJ's on , fully covered from head to toe, but apparently this was not allowed. I even said if was not a rule in the terms and conditions when I booked nor was there a signage to say it's not allowed. However the next day another young lady came in her PJ's for breakfast and nothing was said. I felt victimised since I'm Indian. Also the water dispenser they have had no cups. Our TV in the room was not a TV but a monitor. My monitor screen at work is even bigger than that. The volume only went to a max of 40 . And nothing could be heard on the TV. The Chanel movie room especially had no audio. They mentioned the maintenance will only come on Monday. Which was Irrelevant.

Great value for money

Overall it was a good stay. I liked the area we were in, most of the staff was friendly, but there was a moody and impat

I liked the area that it was in, very convenient for myself and my mom, close to the shops and doctor we were visiting.

Cons:

There’s not much, I just didn’t like that the beds were uncomfortable and not too many channels on the tv

Perfect for me
Pros:

Everything the Road Lodge offers suits my needs perfectly. Very clean and comfortable to my liking. The rooms are small but suit my needs.

Cons:

Breakfast is not worth the price so I prefer to take breakfast at a nearby restaurant.

The place it’s good but room 36 air conditioner was not making the room hot
Cons:

The security took 10 minutes to open for us , when tried to address the matter with the receptionist Nkateko he replied as we can’t take a work to the malls which he replied in a rude . Was not happy with he’s service I think they should improve their security service

Location was perfect, and security

Cons:

The bookings.com picture and description of the place is grossly misrepresented!
1. No telephone in the rooms, we had to walk up n down the stairs to talk to reception.
2. Bathroom- there is no bathroom.. just a miniature outdated toilet;no handtowel ring; no vanity
3. Miniature tv with limited tv channels
4. No dustbin in the main room
5. Bed size was quite small and short! for the type of room we booked.
Aikona…this place is overpriced!!
6. The breakfast was BAD AND COLD. Worst, we walked into no-hostess dining area! 90% of the time there was no hostess we had to figure out our way around
