room was clean and the staff was great and friendly.
the room was hot, window won't open, room was smaller than i. thought, no air conditioner or air ventilation
Location, price but be prepared for the parking charges
Stayed here once before. Good location within walking distance of the city centre and parking available. Nice room, comfy bed and a good breakfast.
Big room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and bed linen
Plenty of plug sockets
Great selection of fresh fruits, yoghurt, pastries and hot food for breakfast (although no pork sausage or bacon, only chicken sausage and turkey rashers)
10 minute easy walk to theatre/bars etc.
Handy parking onsite £15 for 24hrs (NCP opposite is £35)
Staff were friendly
Room was very hot and fan made little difference, air conditioning would be a huge benefit. I appreciate we visited in a heatwave)
Furnishings in room looked old and tired.
No bath towels only 2 small hand towels (as we only stayed overnight with an early start i did not raise this with reception so the lack of towels may have been an oversight by housekeeping)
Needs better signage in the rabbit warren of corridors to show way to lift & reception.
Big spacious room, great staff, always really friendly (big shout out to Lydia)
Nothing
Our expectations were surpasssed. Your hotel had excellent acoustics. Facilities for ironing our clothes delighted us. Mini fridges and microwaves will go the extra mile as will air-conditioning. You were very clean on balance. But soiled carpets in places slightly affected the overall aesthetics. Great news - we will be back again!
Car park charges were on the high side. Locating your hotel was a lottery. Feral thugs nearby ruined our last night's sleep. Staff trimming agreed late checkout allowance(s) wasn't impressive. Alberto was polite, understanding and helpful.
It was relatively easy to reach by car, with the journey from the Motorway into town being easy and free-flowing. The room was relatively clean, but there were some issues. However, breakfast was good and the staff were pleasant.
The carpets in the room were tired and grubby-looking, and it was riding up pretty much across the room, so potentially a tripping hazard for an older person. The windows wouldn't open, and there was just a 12" fan that was damaged and sounded like a bag of spanners, so I put it away and didn’t entertain that again. The heat in the room was therefore unbearable. Also, when I booked, it was following a conversation I had on the phone with the hotel, and I was told we were a 10 minute walk to our concert venue. The reality was, we were 15 minutes from the tram station, and a 20 minute tram ride to the Etihad Complex. I feel I was lied to just to get a booking. It wasn't the quietest location, with an open air party venue across the road that churned out screaming youngsters until gone midnight, and a busy road with alot of emergency vehicles passing through the night. Also, there were no convenient places to eat when we got back at 10.30, no pizzeria or cafe bars, so had to buy a meal deal from Sainsbury! Finally, the bed quilt was a 3' inside a Double quilt cover, so I spend all night battling to not get tangled in the oversized sheet!
Clean and confortable
Room facilities poor - no air con, no water or drinks glasses
Everything was really good room was really clean and spacious beds were so comfortable staff were really nice and helpful we had breakfast in the morning and they catered fir evey need can not fault a thing will most definitely be coming back thank you soooo much
Nothing
Well received, clean and well equipped room, bathroom large and well fitted. Breakfast was good.
Can’t think of anything.
Breakfast was adequate for the price
Location was good
The room was very tired and the carpet had a iron mark
Location was excellent and rooms were very clean and spacious
Very disappointed with breakfast as the hot food consisted of turkey rashers and chicken sausage sausages, what is with all that?
Why wasn’t traditional bacon and pork sausages offered?
That’s the only thing that let it down
Good location. I had just had an injury and was placeed downstairs which was great
The parking charge. Too much
Excellent location and my room was plush and comfortable . The staff are also excellent, Lydia in particular is a very friendly face and incredibly helpful.
Only a minor one but I suffer from hayfever and there was no box of tissues! If that’s the biggest complaint they aren’t doing badly!
