Fantastic size for a family, attention to detail (even elephant pants for guests!) and massive slide for kids

Excellent hotel for families with friendly staff, great areas for the kids to play andvery comfortable rooms.

Absolutely favourite family hotel in Bangkok. Stayed there for so many times I can’t count, never let us down.
There is a very nice bar and restaurant nearby (near the bridge across the river, at the corner) with the best beer you can find in Bangkok

The place is calm and silent good for Family, there is good area for parking

We spent 5 nights at Kokotel Deheva Thonglor and loved it! We are traveling with a 2 year old son and he had the best time. We travel full time so we see a lot of hotels, and this one we all said we didn't want to leave.

Things we loved about it:

1. Huge bed, perfect for the 3 of us, comfortable mattress, lovely bedding and a firm pillow which I need but never get.

2. A playground full of books and fully customisable, with soft Lego blocks, climbing modules, soft flooring, padded walls, 100's of books and a giant two story slide! Endless fun for our toddler. He loved being able to play with the other kids at the hotel.

3. The breakfast buffet and cafe served tasty Japanese style food. A different curry each day, cooked savory items like chicken, sausage and rice. There was also fruit, yogurt, cereal and pastry selections. Orange juice, water and fresh coffee for drinks. What I enjoyed most was that they provide children's plastic plates, bowls and cutlery!

4. Our room (420) was large, plenty of space for a kid to run around. Everything worked. The furniture was slightly worn and chipped but otherwise clean and functional. Water is provided and free self-serve refills are available for your whole stay.

Things to know before you go:

You can exit the hotel and walk along the river (safe and easy), but if you want to cross the river there is a very steep set of stairs you need to go up and down that leads directly next to a main road with fast traffic. Difficult to manage with a stroller and small child.

There is a 7/11 just 5 min walk from the hotel. Lots of restaurants and street food as well, but you are surrounded by main roads everywhere, so be careful with small children.

The hotel has a laundry you can use. They also provide complimentary washing liquid and conditioner.

The balcony is small and mostly for the air-conditioning unit so not very usable, but has nice views of the city.

The swimming pool is slightly heated
