Close to walk on trails. Nice town.

Cons:

Would suggest having gluten free bread on the breakfast table.
We realize quickly gluten free isn't easily available in St. George.

Rooms were pleasant and location was great
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Location was great.

Cons:

Staff was not accommodating as we were told by a staff member by phone that we had joining rooms and we did not . They did not try to make changes or even apologize for the mix up. All they needed to do was apologize and say unfortunately they could not change it rather then try to find out who to blame for the mix up. Also the outside sitting area needs a lot of work - picnic tables are peeling so that you could not sit on them without getting dirty and the chairs should be thrown out as they are fraying and dangerous to sit on.

Whether on line booking or not there should be upgrading when clients acknowledge there is an issue

Good one overnighter.
Pros:

The place was an older model, clean, quiet and comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed with was the coffee. It was bad. I felt I was drinking liquid that looked like coffee. The courtyard has so much potential but seeing cigarette butts in overstuffed ashtrays wasn't a pleasant sight. The vegetation could use a major tirming. Replace some of the worn chairs and repaint the picnic tables and you have a wonderful area outside.

Great place for an overnight - friendly staff and comfortable room!
Pros:

We were on a road trip and needed a place to break our drive from Cape Breton to Massachusetts. The Granite Town Hotel was a great place to rest for one night. The staff was friendly and check-in was easy. Comfortable room and beds. We got ice cream at the local dairy bar (within walking distance) after dinner, and in the morning, breakfast at the hotel was quick and filling. We'd stay again!

Cons:

Would be nice to have a fitness room and pool!

Pros:

Friendly staff, quiet hotel, very clean.

Cons:

The room was a bit small with a button much furniture. It was at times hard to navigate my walker around.
The mattress was a bit too soft. It could have used an extra bedside table and a lamp.

Beautiful place in St George Pub on Main had great scallops which just needed the breading removed!
Pros:

Breakfast room, fresh flowers, Kraft caramels, good delicious breakfast , muffins, hard boiled egg, Tim Horton’s hot chocolate

Cons:

The incorrect Visa card was charged but AM desk clerk corrected it thankfully.
