Staff Were Brilliant And The Room Was Very Clean
Parking Fees For A Blue Badge Holder £12 A Knight Was To Expensive
Nearly everything
Smell of room
The best aspect of the stay was the comfort of the bed. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The location was great. Only a 10 minutes walk into the town or the lower gardens. Parking worked out well.
Unfortunately, on the second night I took back the duvet before sleeping and noticed that the sheets were mouldy. However, once I reported the issue a member of staff brought new sheets. The lodge is an older building and detached from the main hotel. It looked run down, dated and old. But, was satisfactory for a budget weekend stay. Staff did there jobs but were not particularly welcoming, warm or friendly.
Breakfast was good and the location was good.
The room was a little tired in the annex. The system asked if we wanted to upgrade but I wasn’t sure from what to what do that could be better explained.
I liked the staff breakfast
Our accommodation was spacious, comfortable and generally very good. However, the bathroom was disappointing. The bath was blocked, the water would not drain properly, and the shower pressure was extremely poor.
The service at the swimming pool was also disappointing, as there was no staff member at the pool reception. We needed towels to use the pool, so we went to the main reception for assistance. Unfortunately, the gentleman working there was on the phone and ignored us for around 10 minutes. Even after that, he continued his conversation before eventually asking, “Do you need towels?” He was clearly aware that we were waiting, and this made us feel ignored and unwelcome.
Overall, although the accommodation itself was spacious and good, the bathroom facilities and the poor customer service significantly affected our experience. We found the situation particularly unpleasant and believe that better maintenance and more attentive service would make a big difference.
Had a great stay for one night!!
Nothing to say!!
The hotel was close to the beach and highstreet and had parking available.
The room was a little dated, curtains were dusty and the the bathroom extractor fan was noisy.
Location.
Sadly the cooked breakfast food wasn’t very hot for 2 mornings. Reported a toilet problem on the first morning but no maintenance member was sent to investigate & fix.
All very good
All good
A beautiful hotel in the town centre with car parking available. Rooms clean, comfortable and modern. Good breakfast also available. This was a good place for overnight stop on a longer road trip.
The hotel is excellent. But perhaps to be noted that it's set back in the town rather than actually on the sea front, although not far away, when considering location.
Free spa facilities
Spa facilities good
Comfy bed
Great location
Mostly friendly staff and polite
There was one member of staff at the spa that was clearly stressed out and came across rude
Bath plug didn’t click down so bath took forever to fill so had to use deodorant cap and make one myself to have a bath
Pool facilities could of been a little cleaner and the water was salty which I thought was unusual for a indoor pool
Great hotel
Lovely hotel friendly staff great spa
Warm welcome, access to facilities clean and tidy.
Nothing
The hotel was in a great location.
The carparking charges, £12 a night that we weren't told about until we had booked the room.
Staff were super friendly. Great location to the beach and close to my work. Room was very spacious.
Lots of wear and tear - especially in the bathroom. Bathroom needs lots of attention to tidy up and remove moldy areas.
Breakfast was suitable but could have had better selection and been fresher (i expected better from a best western).
No sound proofing at all. I could hear everyone coming in and out the building, up the stairs, all the doors going, conversations /coughing in surrounding rooms, even people switching light switches - made it difficult to get good night sleep when staying in the area for work.
Pillows and quilt need updating.. very flat.
