The rooms are cleaned and comfortable and quiet! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating
The team of workers were very accommodating. The place was clean. Staff was friendly, and very nice, and personable.
First time visiting San Diego for a getaway trip on our Anniversary week. Enjoyed our stay and the weather turned out very good. Older brick building that used to be an apartment complex. Very nice rooms w/ full kitchen and in great condition. We only spent two nights here, since we were on our way up the coast on our trip. Lots of things to do near the hotel.Ask about the city trolley tours.Enjoyed the on and off tour of old San Diego and waterfront.
The hotel was great. Clean, attentive and helpful staffs, awesome views, and strategically located between downtown SD and the suburban areas. Had a great time.
Location is what makes this place great. It's close to Balboa Park and Downtown. They're withing 15 to 20 minutes walk. Mass transit is also nearby. We used it to get around. However, the location is getting rundown. That's too sad. It's kinda like SF. We walked to Balboa Park daily. Walked to Little Italy and Gaslamp. The Petco Park is walkable too. You can also take the bus or trolley. We did use the trolley to go to Old Town. Very good mass transit. BTW, the restaurants and local cuisine are delicious. All of the restaurants we dined at were excellent. Hopefully, it doesn't get to rundown, otherwise, I wouldn't recommend staying there.
The property was lovely and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The location of the property was also good, close to most attractions.
Unfortunately, around the property there were too many homeless people, leaving us slightly uncomfortable when walking in the evenings.
This hotel is in a perfect location to do most of the activities we wanted within a 5 min. drive.. The staff was exceptionally helpful, friendly and welcoming. The toilet is extremely low to the ground and we had to ask for a toilet riser, which they provided. The unit was adequate in size and the bed and even the pull out bed was quite comfortable.
Our studio suite was spacious and comfortable. Nice kitchen & bathroom, good bed. Staff were excellent and very helpful.
Downtown and convenient to everything. Very close to the zoo
This is a nice place and was a good location for us. Close to Petco Park, and not a far Uber to Little Italy. Check in was smooth and everyone was friendly. The valet guy, Antonio I think, was awesome. He gave us a lot of ideas for the area including taking Circuit. He was very friendly and helpful. The areas around the hotel is not the best area to walk around, lot of homeless.
The biggest complaint about staying here was the noise. Road noise all night long and the rooms do not block much sound at all. Housekeeping starting early in the mornings made sleeping past 630 impossible.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit, but the thermostat was in the bedroom and was on a motion sensor. If you are not in the bedroom, the AC would not kick on. Same issue while trying to sleep, you had to wave your arm to get it to turn on.
We enjoyed our trip but came home exhausted, definitely will not stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to others.
I love this location, and have stayed here twice. It’s central to many attractions and things to do. The beds are very comfortable. The staff here is fantastic. My only critique is that since this location does not have a pool, they absolutely must figure out how to put a hot tub on the property. They could do this on the roof, which is the central chill spot in the hotel.
Our concierge Austin assisted us with every detail and great patience to make our stay in San Diego exceptional ! The staff was amazing and all very personable .. the hotel is situated in perfect location and the mattress was heavenly slept on a cloud .. would definitely return prepare yourselves for exceptional customer service .. A rating for sure loved the rooftop .. will definitely return !
The hotel was centrally located, close to many restaurants. Within walkable distance to downtown and Petco park, the bay, USS Midway Museum and Balboa Park. Room was very spacious, it included a kitchen and full size fridge, dishes, pots and pans, silverware and even dish soap and a sponge. The only negatives I found were lack of parking space (had to park off street and there was barely any spaces available). I had to park a block away and pay $8 for every 12 hours of parking. They also didn't have a pool nor did they offer breakfast. The rooftop terrace had an amazing view and they even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine (we were there on our honeymoon).
Literally 15 minutes from everything. Airport, Zoo, Sea Port, Park, Entertainment etc. Very cool vibe in hotel and so functional. Excellent room. Efficient and lovely.
Great property, very clean and staff is extremely polite and attentive!
It was a pleasant stay
Loved the hotel/resort. No complaints about the property or staff. Both were very amazing decor service etc.
As for the timeshare event that I so wanted to abort. But in the end did it for the benefit of the awesome representative Austin. When we arrived early for our ride share to the sister property The Inn at the Park. The uber dropped the ride which resulted in another being requested and our arrival just past 9:30 our appointed slot.
The staff there received us and then neglected us on the roof top for over 90 minutes and we were never proved the presentation. Not were we provided any food and beverage until we begged. We got water and a bag of chips.
We were then told no presentation for us (bias). They did credit our 40.00 entry and gave us the free gift but literally shined us on and wasted two hours of our valuable time for no apparent reason.
My recommendation is pass on this…………
I have stayed at many World Mark’s and this one was subpar. Receptionist were all very nice and the concierge was very good, but the facility did not have all of the amenities of most world marks. I didn’t even know that WorldMark had to studio rooms.
