Klasse Erfahrung.
Pros:

Herrlich. Das Essen hervorragend und nettes Personal. Der Ort ist sowas von schön, man weiß gar nicht, wo man zuerst hinschauen soll. Auch das Herrenhaus lohnt sich anzuschauen

Staff, food and comfort all excellent.
Pros:

As a Coeliac the chef went through the menu and explained everything that he could adapt to gluten free, which was pretty much everything and very tasty, especially the fish. Breakfast was a really good choice and I had the Eggs Benedict.

Cons:

The fact that we were only staying for one night, but we are going back next week now.

Welcoming and comfortable.
Pros:

Great breakfast. Good location for visiting Montacute House and a walk up St Michael's Hill. Lovely old village. Lots of parking space. Friendly & helpful staff.

Cons:

Bathroom could use some TLC, stair carpet needs replacing.

Great place to stay if you're looking for good food, beautiful setting and friendly staff
Pros:

The staff were fantastic, very helpful. The breakfast and dinner were great quality.
I wish I had been staying for leisure rather than work so I could have enjoyed the location more.
The tea and coffee facilities and toiletries provided were good.

Cons:

The room was really dated. I felt like I was staying in my Nans back bedroom in 1995.
But.... it was comfortable and I slept well.

Okay for a short stay
Pros:

Great location in peaceful village. Friendly staff and good bar area for a relaxing evening drink.

Cons:

Room was in need of some updating. Beds were not very comfortable - felt every spring in the mattress. A topper could easily solve this. Curtains very thin, letting in the early morning daylight. Also felt that a breakfast time of 7:30-9:30am was somewhat early for a weekend.

Wonderful, old English Pub
Pros:

Location beautiful with lots of pretty walks around the surrounding pastures. Breakfast was plentifully and staff lovely and friendly. Lovely old pub. Would definitely stay again
