Lovely building in a gorgeous village.
Bedroom was uncomfortably hot in extreme hot weather even with fan.

Good service, excellent food
The bathroom was a bit crammed, with a sink right in front of the toilet. It was awkward. On a very hot night.the fan provided was noisy.
A lovely old pub with rooms. Room was a little tired but perfectly clean with a comfy bed, fluffy towels and a decent shower. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious.
No hanging space apart from a couple of hooks in the wall, and only one metal hanger provided, until I requested more.

Food extremely salty. Basic breakfast items. Uncomfortable bed. Tired bedrooms in need of decorating. No drinking water supplied in room.. stains on bedroom walls needed washing.

Lovely old building
A superb pub with excellent accommodation. The food was of the best quality I have found in locations lke this. Fresh produce, well cooked and beautifully presented - whether breakfst or dinner. A great team of staff run this place - well done all of you.

Fußläufig zum Montacute Haus, deswegen gebucht. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer mit einem schönen Blick auf Kirche und Pfarrhaus. Einrichtung und Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber für den Preis ok.
Das Frühstück war nicht mein Ding, dann schon eher die Käseplatte im Pub.

A beautiful old pub, with a great atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff and a great breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable.
Occasionally car parking was a bit difficult, but staff helped us out to find a space.
