Excellent location, lovely room
Pros:

Fantastic location, felt high end despite being low cost. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Pretty nice facilities inside room, don’t get out in the corner room, kinda loud.
Pros:

This was a great location by the marina and not too far a walk from the wharf area and state street. Staff at front desk were friendly!

Cons:

We were put in this corner room where our room windows were by the sidewalk along the perimeter of the hotel. It was really loud, many people walking by and workers outside along that street.

Great location, nice amenities, friendly and helpful staff.
Pros:

the location --walk to harbor for dinner and to Chad's for breakfast. Room comfortable and had coffee and frig. Not too noisy. Easy access to room and car. Friendly staff--help with finding a dinner place for visiting family (the manager helped me)

Cons:

Noise from parking lot behind our room--not Castillo property but the hotel next door. people leaving early in the am. not a lot you can do about that

Très bel hotel, grande chambre confortable. Très propre. Personnel sympathique.

Nice place, some staff is rude and unconcerned

It’s very nice and unique and close to the beach

Cons:

We called the day prior to politely ask to store some baggage a few hours before check in. The staff on the phone was pleasant and said “of course, no problem”. When we arrived, we were met by one of the rudest hospitality staff I’ve ever met, Tommy. He was unpleasant, unapologetic, and refused to accommodate even a purse or small child’s bag. I’ve never experienced a hotel that will not hold luggage for paying guests. He saw us with a child, child car seat, and multiple heavy backpacks and said he couldn’t help us and did not apologize or offer any recourse.

When we asked what time we could check in he said “I don’t know”. I’m still wondering how someone who works at a hotel could say that.

The property is nice and sufficient and close to the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I will never forget the rudeness of the front desk staff, namely Tommy, who really needs some training in politeness and customer service. Being told baggage wasn’t a problem and then being laughed in our face and told “I don’t know” took us quite aback.
