Very nice room, lovely bathroom comfortable room
Pros:

It was in a great location close to everything that we needed to get to. The receptionist was lovely and very friendly.

Cons:

The noise was very annoying. We could hear people talking and having a party.

Would happily stay again if attending another concert at Rod Laver… so long as I’m not carrying a heavy suitcase!

Great Value for money. Comfy bed. Loved the spa bath! Plenty of room to move

Cons:

Elevator out of order, had to use stairs to get to third floor room (thankyou to receptionist who offered help with luggage, however I didn’t need it).

Also couldn’t get my scan card to work at front door when returning to building late at night despite following instructions written on front door. As instructed, I had to walk full length of the outside of building to enter through back door (which worked instantly)

Clean and comfortable stay, but disappointing customer service and misleading parking information.
Pros:

I recently stayed at Sora East Melbourne and there were definitely some positives. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, everything was clean, there were plenty of towels provided, and the bathroom was spotless. I also appreciated having a TV with streaming services included, which made the stay more enjoyable.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the overall experience was significantly impacted by the parking situation and customer service. When booking, the hotel advertises that parking is available on site, however it does not clearly specify that parking is paid and costs $40 per night. This was quite misleading, as I specifically chose this accommodation expecting parking to be included or at least more transparently disclosed. Had I known about the additional cost beforehand, I likely would have booked elsewhere with free parking.
What further disappointed me was the way this issue was handled by reception staff. When I politely raised my concerns regarding the parking, the receptionist responded with a great deal of attitude and was extremely unkind. The interaction left me feeling unwelcome and unfortunately tainted what otherwise could have been a pleasant stay.

Pros:

Overall it was a great value for money and very clean, hassle free check in. Exceeded my expectations keeping in mind a 3 star hotel, I think they are good at attention to detail!

Cons:

Only the air conditioning wasn't working, needed some heating on, rest an amazing experience!

absoutely stunk of cigerette smoke
Pros:

the location great and beds were comfortable. the shower pressure was really good.

Cons:

the room stunk of cigarette smoke, it did not improve over the 3 days despite windows being open and aircon on. fabric headboards, carpet and curtains probably need to be replaced as it was in the room. the lift was broken which we were not informed about until we arrived. the soap dish in the shower was broken and was a huge safty risk if you fall as it was a sharp spike in side of the wall.
