Cheap helpful staff other than that it's a crazy place I must say

There's only one staff who's very helpful she helped me to bring my babies stroller since the lift was out of order
The whole place is not bad but those people who were checked in the hotel that time were super crazy and scary two guys followed us and I had to hurry getting all my belongings with my baby inside our room omg 😕😕In the morning I woken up with the noise of unknown man running on the hallway and was screaming saying he will kill someone i was about to call police since I got so freak out and I felt so stressed out too scared get us out there then I heard outside and saw cops car outside the window thats when i felt the right time to leave the hotel room luckily we escape that place safely .

We had an outstanding stay at Sora East Melbourne. The apartment was immaculate, modern, and beautifully designed, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—close to the city, public transport, parks, cafes, and local attractions, while still being peaceful and quiet.

The check-in process was seamless, and the hosts were responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the amenities were excellent, and the attention to detail made the space feel welcoming and luxurious.

Everything exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Melbourne and looking for a stylish, convenient, and comfortable place to stay.

I think the location is the only positive -

Cons:

The photo’s are all stock AI generated… the rooms sure don’t look like that. Quite disappointed. No smoking signs everywhere and the place reeked of cigarette smoke. Mould all through the shower that you couldn’t get into as the vanity blocked half the door. The gigantic mirrored wardrobe doors were just leaning against the wall, super safe in a family apartment?? There is no mention of no parking- and the street parking is only 1 hour and beware you will get towed.. and it’s $490 to get your car back after which the reception will laugh in your face and show the laminated information sheet that they have ready prepared behind the counter but not informed you about…

Pros:

Had a really good stay here. The reception team were friendly and made check-in quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very comfy which helped me get a great night’s sleep. Everything was well looked after and the motel had a nice, welcoming feel😊. Would happily stay here again

Good value and location. For this, i am willing to overlook the issues i encountered.
Pros:

Large room with comfortable bed and plenty of kitchen facilities. Walking distance to CBD with Fitzroy Gardens in-between for a quiet stroll through parklands.

Cons:

Corridors smelled of cigarette smoke at all times. Shower did not drain properly and flooded the bathroom. Lift was not working - but its not too hard to go up the stairs if you don't have large heavy bags. Aggressive and threatening shouting somewhere within the building at 1:30am. Don't know if this was guests, staff or a random walk-in.

Great value for money
Pros:

Great value for money in a fantastic location. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with an easy self check-in process. Close to the MCG, CBD, public transport, and great cafés. Friendly staff and excellent service made our stay even better. Would definitely stay here again!
