Stil, Charme und Eleganz direkt am Meer
Pros:

Klasse Lage, direkt am Strand und nahe am Puls der Stadt.
Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, professionell geführtes Haus.
Restaurant und Frühstück waren eine Freude.

Heerlijk verblijf pal aan zee
Pros:

Mooi, modern hotel aan het einde van de boulevard dus uit de drukte. Personeel is vriendelijk, kamers zijn ruim genoeg, iedere kamer zit volgens ons met de ramen aan de zeekant dus je hebt altijd (min of meer) zeezicht. Douchen in bad met alleen een stortdouche, ontbijt was heel uitgebreid en smaakte prima, zwembad op het dak was heerlijk en keek uit over het strand, dat pal voor de deur lag. Het restaurant van het hotel heeft prima eten en een gezellige sfeer. Parkeren was nu nog geen probleem (begin juni) want aan de weg waren nog genoeg vrije plekken maar dat zal in het hoogseizoen wel een dingetje zijn. Wij hebben hier twee nachten geslapen om uit te rusten van vijf dagen wandelen in de Picos de Europa dus wij hebben verder niets in Santander gedaan.

Cons:

Jammer dat er alleen een een stortdouche was en geen handdouche. Douchen was verder prima maar wij waren verwend met de vorige stortdouches: ik vond dat er ook niet heel veel kracht achter zat (maar dat dat voor waterbezuiniging is, is dan weer wel goed).

Pros:

The views and the restaurant were very good. The staff at the restaurant were exceptional.

Cons:

For this level of hotel/cost there was not: coffee - only a vending machine (!!!), magnifying mirror in bathroom, soap on vanity (none!), tissues, hair conditioner, robes, wine glasses, soap dispenser in shower was broken and no shelf or hand rail in shower. To me, that is a safety issue.

A beautiful hotel in a lovely location, thoroughly recommended.
Pros:

We had a balcony overlooking the sea and the beach which was absolutely beautiful. Yes, it was a taxi ride from the centre but the location was perfect. The views and the tranquility were exactly what we were looking for from our holiday..we loved it!

Cons:

Our room was on the second floor where the WiFi reception ranged from two bars, to one bar but mostly to no reception at all. In this day and age when WiFi is as important as air con and running water, and for a hotel of this calibre we thought this to be very poor.

Heerlijk hotel aan strand met mooi zwembad.
