Nice location but not value for money for tired decor and limited facilities.
Pros:

Nice area. Quiet location. Comfortable pillows and bed.

Cons:

Quite old and tired decor. No replacement tea bags for second day/night stay. No coat hooks in room and limited cupboard space - as safe, ironing board etc all stored in wardrobe. No control over room temperature. Limited lighting available for doing make up. No long length mirror.

Not as nice as was first thought
Pros:

There was a leak through the bathroom light and when we reported it was told this is normal. This is highly dangerous and disgusting as was told it was when the upstairs room shower.

Cons:

The above issue should have been addressed with seriousness and not just dismissed.

Welcoming staff, good breakfast.

Cons:

Awoken c. 3am by crashing about in room overhead. Noise went on for a while & I thought I'd put TV on, to get some quiet music to distract me. But no sign of the remote control ... So poor night.

Pros:

The distance was not too bad from the city centre, we enjoyed a very nice walk. Due to the public transportation being excellent in Oxford, the buses were frequent and a bus stop is located in the vicinity, so it never took more than 10 minutes to get to the city centre. Breakfast was lovely, traditional english with many options. The rooms are big, comfortable.

Cons:

The walls are very thin, we heard everything our neighbours were doing. Breakfast coffee is not the best, but at the bar they serve excellent coffee.
