This place seemed to us run down and dirty, on top it was extremely noisy and rather expensiv. Not to recommend.
Have stayed many times. Great staff, facilities, comfort, toiletries, safe parking. Nice little town with good bars, pubs and restaurants.

Room was pokey and bathroom tiny. Car park full. Bathroom grubby, shower too fierce ! Bed uncomfortable , rocks in the pillows

Easy to access car park, easy to access rooms slightly away from the main pub close to car park, good access to local high Street, great welcome FAQ QR code showing local options for mostly things you may need. Very clean rooms.
Lack of soundproofing combined with location of room meant that you could hear the person talking at a normal volume in the next room, then ontop of that the outside drinking area for the pub is directly outside the window meaning if people are out there, you will hear it. This may not be an issue if you are a deep sleeper or have noise cancelling options.
Good parking, location, and size of room. Very clean and comfortable with excellent good breakfast.
I didn't know they stopped serving food by 7 on Sunday evening so unfortunately had to leave the hotel again to find evening meal.
Room was very comfortable, exceptionally clean, well equipped with beverages and biscuits, very nice to have the radio on calming Classic FM when I arrived, lovely handwash/shampoo/bodywash etc in bathroom
I was only staying for one night after a wedding and didn't book breakfast as didn't want anything big, but there are nice coffee shops nearby and I think I would return for a stay to explore the area another time. The hotel is so central and parking easy
My room was on the ground floor, and looked over a car park, so it was quite noisy with traffic - I arrived late at night so didn't realise this when I checked in
It is summer but the duvet was quite a thick winter one, so I did feel quite hot! Perhaps a summer duvet would have been more suitable - with optional blankets rolled up for the cooler nights.
Great location, brilliant restaurant & bar, great staff too.
