Staff and environment
The staff were great and the bathroom very modern
Everything, every wall, carpet etc is grey, varying shades of grey and black and white.
Shower controls not very responsive
Location (walking distance to OVO), comfortable, great power shower, tea/coffee making facilities, nice area.
Having to have my credit card swiped for a £100 refundable bond, not sure what kind of people may have been staying here in the past who may have trashed the rooms or alike? this just seemed strange and never experienced this anywhere before.
Very nice hotel and exactly as requited for my needs. The room was comfortable and clean. Special mention to the staff, all of whom were friendly and helpful.
There was nothing I didn't like
15 min walk from centre, really nice hot buffet breakfast
Old Mouse droppings in bathroom, was offered another room but we said we were happy to stay once they were cleaned up, after arriving back at the room the rest of the room had been tidied but dropping were still there so we had to ask again
Good location for event at Hydro
Decor a little tired
Room was clean and tidy. Everything worked. Staff were friendly. Location was good for our needs and nearby street parking was handy (free at the weekend).
Breakfast was very overcooked. Room was much smaller than hoped - the dark decor made it feel worse. Creaking floorboards above our room and a noisy fan didn't help with sleeping.
