This was my first stay in Hellaby Hall hotel and I must say this was one of the best hotels I have stayed in UK.
The hotel has a beautiful lawn, unique architecture and excellent facilities. The family room size was quite good and we had a excellent stay. Its a value for money and would highly recommend this hotel.
Bedroom was comfortable
People walking through restaurant to bar. Busy wedding meant we felt sidelined. Rushed out of dinner as busy with wedding meal
We liked the charm of the old buildings. We appreciated the late check-in option. The pool was great!
Our shower drain overflowed if you let the shower run more than 20 seconds. Our room had no towels. They were brought quickly when we alerted the front desk.
Breakfast was really good.
Hotel is a little tired in places - but overall a nice stay
The location where its based
The staff were amazing and friendly to talk to
The bed was comfortable
The gym manger was so polite and helpful, greeted me as if we was friends, such an amazing person
There was no tea and coffee in the rooms
Didn't have any shampoo when they topped it up
The bed sheets were the same sheets I had the day before
(I accidentally spilt food on the sheets, and it was there throughout my stay)
Need more signs on the entrance as I got lost and weren't sure where I was going, I thought the swimming area was the entrance
The lamps in the bedroom wasn't working
Also took awhile for the main lights to come on
Lovely pool and facilities.
Really cosy and smart room.
Noisy people outside my room at 1230am, but this isn't the hotel's fault.

Room bit outdated
Not very clean bathroom - found bits of rubbish on floor
Staff were pleasant enough but that’s prob where it ends
Very run down, grubby, dirty, blood stains on the shower curtain, smelt of smoke, half the plug sockets and lights in the room didn’t work. No aircon.
Everything. Loved the setting, the gardens, the hotel, the pool. Best night's sleep ive had in ages. Loved watching the rabbits our of the window. It was really good value as well!
Can't think of anything really.
The facilities are the best feature for me, they have a lovely leisure centre available to use
The rooms are slightly dated but still nice & clean
Staff vary good, nice cook breakfast ,pool and spa facilities are good
Property is very old very tired bit worn out
Clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and accommodating as it was a late booking for work travel
N/a
It was close to the motorway
Not 4 star at all, shower didnt work properly, had to get up twice through the night to run taps and flush toilet as we were met with loud plumbing humming. Staff were unpleasant
Good location, lots of parking
Very strange layout, lacked any atmosphere. Staff need to learn how to turn off door alarms at 6am
The staff were all absolutely lovely xxx Top marks!
Bed was worn out and uncomfortable, the room furniture was shabby and some of it broken, the carpet was stained. Evidence of thorough cleaning, but black mould still evident in shower.
