The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and just what we needed while visiting family.
Nothing
The swimming pool & facilities were excellent, the staff were all really friendly & helpful
Our room was on top floor in eves, with sloping ceiling, making it quite cramped to get round bed, I'm 5'11 & hot my head alot!! The curse of being tall
Surroundings were excellent, with lots of local facilities within walking distance, bed was very comfortable,
Tried to book 1 room for 2, however cost more because the booking was 1 room for 1, had to book 2 rooms, bath was extremely shallow making it hard to get out, banged my head several times due to room situated within the loft space.
Breakfast was kept warm, could have been more appetising
It’s a beautiful looking property and could be lovely, the room was fine and had iron and a fan , the breakfast was good
When we arrived it took ages to get served , there was only one young girl on who I thought was new as she didn’t seem too sure on things but she wasn’t .
They had no clean glasses , said we could only have Sunday dinner even though there was menu for other food .
It was a shambles
Pool was nice and warm
Bed was to hard was counting the springs
The pool was nice
For a couple there was only 1 bath towel in the executive deluxe room surely there should be a towel each ,there were almond nuts under the dressing table clear to see when we got there ,near the front ,so not cleaned or hoovered up from last people in the room.
Food pool staff

The girls enjoyed the pool and sauna area.
The grounds are lovely and well maintained.
It was a joy to see the rabbits!
Paid for early check in - which wasn't logged on the system - so we didn't check in early.
Room - two bathroom lights not working - including the electric mirror. We did report this at reception... nothing done about it.
Bar - ordered Gin and Tonic no lemon / lime and served in a wine glass. The bar shuts just after 11.30 pm.....
The pool food and location
The bed small and hard woke to Bach ache not a good night's sleep
Been here a lot of time but just seems to be going down, think it’s needs a lift the ladies in the front desk are great but just seems to be slipping of late. Shame really
Nice exterior building and gardens
Dated interior. Rooms very dated and scruffy. Scratches and marks all over the walls. The room smelled when we first entered and there a hair on the toilet roll!! Also a connecting door ruined any meaning of privacy. Luckily Rachel at reception allowed us to switch rooms which was somewhat better. She was lovely. Breakfast was basic but okay, was asked by a staff member for hot drinks and we ordered coffees which never came. Just seemed a bit unorganised
Staff were very friendly.
Ordering food and drinks took a little longer than expected.
Good breakfast, and facilities.
The only problem was access and finding the front of the hotel from a very busy road
Free parking
Good location
Access to gym and spa!!!!
Layout of the hotel areas and directions to find the room and restaurant were very confusing! Better directional signage is needed throughout for hotel.
Absolute hidden gem … my dog (Archie) had the best time ! Xxx

Close to where we were going. But quiet and clean

Bodyscene Health & Leisure Club was great, very nice staff and an excellent setup. Top notch sauna, just the job after a busy day.
Location and gym facilities
Very dated, food was overpriced, room temperature was cold.
£18 for the burger and chips (in picture) was overpriced for the size and amount of chips
