The food was delicious. The lounge area is warm, cozy and stylish. The view is to die for.

Cons:

The doona situation ended up in me feeling like I was tied in knots with sheets. So many sheets. First world problem. Give me a doona every time.
The buffet breakfast was beautifully laid out, with many delicious choices…as you looked over the ocean. Surprisingly some of the content was really quite bland.

The perfect place for a short getaway.
Pros:

My elderly parents and I spent two nights here, and we had a fantastic stay from start to finish. Every single staff member we interacted with provided absolute 10/10 customer service—warm, attentive, and outstanding across the board.

The rooms are lovely. We opted for an ocean view, which was lovely, though given the distance to the water, I’d likely book a golf course view next time for a closer perspective. We also dined at Number One restaurant one evening, and the food was truly fabulous. Kudos to the entire team for a wonderful experience!

Exceptional accomodation with only average food.
Pros:

Super large room with grand view.
But like virtually every accommodation in the world only a place for ONE suitcase!?!

Cons:

Breakfast with RACV baked beans. Really, why do some places go out of their way to ruin a delicious product.

A very disappointing stay. Not nearly good enough.
Pros:

The building is spectacular and the views unsurpassable.
We were in a 5th floor ocean view room which was very large with a lovely bathroom and outlook.

Cons:

For the cost of the accommodation, there were many aspects that were lacking and I would not be able to recommend it.
Although the bathroom was lovely, the towels were absolutely tiny and were very thin and worn. My parents were staying in another room and mentioned the same. My husband is an average size man and the towel was not acceptable. There were only 2 towels in our room, so we were unable to utilise an additional towel if required.
The bed was not comfortable and did not match the supposed standard of the hotel.
The rooms were also very sparsely decorated and felt like they were lacking both furniture and artwork.
The included breakfast was very average. Not only did the dining room feel dirty, the food on offer at the buffet was substandard. Examples of this were bacon that was almost raw and eggs that were overcooked and cold.
The tables in the dining room were sticky and the coffee machine had a queue of about 20 people. We gave up waiting in the end.
We have stayed at the RACV Cape Schank previously and it was a completely different experience.
