The whole experience staying at Meadowlands was excellent. The staff were very accommodating and cheerful, the food was of a high quality & very good value and our room exceeded our expectations. A very pleasurable stay in all aspects. We will return!

Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff that were professional to a fault. Property clean and well maintained. Nice and varied breakfast in pleasant surroundings. Unfortunately our stay was short.

Cons:

The temperature in property we thought was a little on the low side.

Excellent hotel and not expensive.
Pros:

Excellent dinner on arrival. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was spacious and spotless. All the staff were professional and friendly. It was a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived until we left.

Overall it was a good stay and the hotel was handy for places we wanted to visit.
Pros:

Breakfast was in the hotel restaurant area and was good. Dinner was in the pub "Johnny Frank"s Bar" which was located at front of the hotel, with access from the hotel. The food was excellent and good value, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was ok, the bedding had seen better days and the pillows were lumpy, but overall it was clean, and the housekeeping was good. The bathroom had a shower over the bath, which only seemed to dispense very hot water, no matter how we adjusted the temperature knob. Overall though it was a good stay.

The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable and bed linen was well worn. The bathroom had a shower over the bath and the water temperature knob did not make any difference to the water temperature which was very hot. There was however, an anti slip mat provided that was clean and a grab handle on the wall.

Breakfast was fantastic — the variety for food intolerances was genuinely impressive. It’s rare to see a hotel offer such a wide and thoughtful selection, and it made the mornings completely stress‑free. Everything was clearly labelled, fresh, and easy to navigate, which I really appreciated. A great stay made even better by how well they catered for different dietary needs

Cons:

We were disappointed with our anniversary dinner. Although we had booked a table in the restaurant, we were seated in the bar instead — something that wasn’t mentioned at any point. The bar was extremely noisy, with a loud TV, which completely took away from what should have been a special evening. The food itself was good, but the setting was not suitable for a dinner booking.
