Quality of construction and Hardware, convenient location
Our stay at Hotel Amber was a truly pleasant experience. We were very impressed with how consistently clean and well-maintained our room was throughout our entire stay. While we encountered a few minor issues during our time here, the hotel staff was incredibly proactive and addressed everything properly and promptly.
What really makes this hotel stand out, however, is the exceptional team. A huge shout-out to Ying at the front desk, who greeted us with a warm, genuine smile every single day and was always so incredibly helpful with our requests. We also want to recognize Wan for his attentive service; he was always there to hold the door open and took great care of our luggage. Finally, a big thank you to the wonderful breakfast team, especially, the manager and Nida who ensured our mornings started off perfectly.
We truly appreciated the hospitality and look forward to staying here again!
A special thank you to Aow from housekeeping. She always surprised our son by making cute towel animals in our room, and he absolutely loved them. She also kindly provided a hanging dehumidifier when she noticed our laundry wasn’t drying well. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail made our stay much more enjoyable. Thank you for your excellent service!

The location is perfect.
Nowadays it seems the norm is to give the worst possible room to start with and slowly improve the state to almost acceptable for human occupation until guests simply give up.
In this case we started with a smoking room which was mouldy and had construction work right above. Second room was extremely mouldy. This time we just gave up there as we had similar experiences the whole month of traveling through Vietnam and Thailand before and were just tired of it. There are so many more hotels (especially 4 stars) that are the same. If you are sensitive to mould and dust I would not recommend the hotel. Visibly no real cleaning, the feet were dirty from walking barefoot. AC old and loud and also not cleaned. The single chair in the room had questionable white stains all over. "Universal" Power sockets unusable. Funnily enough, the bathroom was actually decent.
Just another hotel where they try to hide the age with paint and nice front door optics.

Breakfast most mornings there was no room in the air conditioning area and had to eat outside even in the morning it’s very warm
