Exceptional hospitality and a truly homely feel

Garni Hotel Miklič has a wonderfully homely feel, but it was the owners and staff who really made our stay exceptional. Very few hotels truly understand what customer service means, and this one is definitely among them. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome and looked after.

The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options for our family of vegetarians, including suitable choices for one family member with gluten-free requirements.

On our first day, we stopped in Kranjska Gora on our way to the Soča Valley from the airport. We didn’t want to leave all our luggage in the car while we were out for the day, so we stopped at the hotel to ask if they could help. They very kindly took our luggage and placed it safely in our room ready for when we arrived to check in later that evening.

The location is also perfect. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and places to eat within a 5–10 minute walk, making it very convenient for exploring the area.

Overall, a fantastic hotel with exceptional service, a great location and genuinely warm hospitality. We would have no hesitation in staying here again and would highly recommend Garni Hotel Miklič to anyone visiting Kranjska Gora.

Relaxing, calm stay in a beautiful part of beautiful country

It’s exceptionally designed, cozy and clan. Easily accessible, and the staff was accommodating to our requests. We visited during the summer heatwave and it was heavenly cool and fresh. Common area has such a nice vibe to it, with opened ceilings and plenty of sunshine. I can imagine that during the winter this is even more precious,

Cons:

Really nothing to criticize. The place is pricy but I don’t think the price stands out from general market in the vicinity.

Zelo lep, udoben hotel, prijazno, ustrežljivo osebje. Zelo dobri zajtrki, ki zadovoljijo vsakega..

Cons:

Mogoče sem na trenutke pogrešal klimatsko napravo, ker sem bil gost ravno v času hudega vročinskega vala,. So pa tukaj noči nekoliko hladnejše in se pristori dokaj dobro ohladijo.

Pros:

Chambre, immense avec vue sur la montagne environnante. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel ,avec un très grand choix, et découverte des produit locaux. Un réassortiment constant, du personnel souriant et a l'écoute.
Au calme et a 5 min du centre.

Cons:

Le parking est très serrer et demande de nombreuse manoeuvre pour se garer ou pour en sortir...mais c'est un détail!

Dobra lokalizacja z pięknym widokiem na góry (balkon tuż nad wejściem z napisem HOTEL). Dwupoziomowy apartament z przestrzenią idealną dla rodziny 2+2. Całość położona w cichej okolicy. Bardzo przyjazny personel i Pani na recepcji, która o wszystkim opowiedziała i chciała wręcz mi pomóc zanieść walizki do pokoju

Wystrój taki trochę jak u babci albo cioci. Taki hotel trochę dla starych ludzi gdzie drukuje się pogodę z internetu i wiesza ją na ścianie na tablicy:)

W naszym pokoju był karaluch. Na szczęście po zrobieniu zdjęcia i weryfikacji z Chat GPT okazało się, że to nie jest ten karaczan, którego znamy z Polski, który może nam naznosić jaj i będziemy mieli armagedon w domu - mam cały czas taką nadzieję. Wywaliłem go przez balkon i więcej nie widziałem.

Personál bol veľmi prívetivý. Hotel síce nemá výťah, ale s kuframi ochotne pomôžu, takže to vôbec neprekáža. Všade bolo veľmi čisto, na izbách aj mimo nich. Raňajky s bohatým výberom, vynikajúca bola aj káva, čo nebýva samozrejmosťou. Parkovanie priamo pred hotelom.
