The ac was not good for the 2 rooms, the 2 people sleeping on the other side of the room weren't comfortable, we were feeling hot. It was a nightmare.

Good location with lots of things to do and see in walking distance. Good value and comfortable.
Pros:

Old hotel but clean and well maintained. It was fine - I had two queen beds - shower was fine - comfortable room - good value for the location. Stayed there several times. I walked to the beach for a walk in the morning (150 metres) and ended up at Cafe Nero for breakfast. I think they offer breakfast but I wanted to get out and stretch my legs. Ask about the AC settings - see below - my bad.

Cons:

Had trouble with the AC - my fault - it was not clear how it worked and I should have called front desk or ask when you check in for help - maybe a quick explanation sheet on how to work it in the room just in case .... it was a little hot ! - Parking is a challenge in the area but call Metropole and ask for help..... one close by - I found my own nearby

The person in the reception was a senior person with differently abled but he was excellent, even allowed us to check in

Everything was perfect, the place was very safe , very clean , the staff was really nice and ready to help us at any mom
Pros:

I liked pretty much everything about the property. The staff was really nice , the rooms are very clean , everything like A.C and hot water worked perfectly. The location was the best we could ask for , it’s near to everything we wanted to go. It had a private and safe parking space for the car. The inside of the building feels really comfortable and safe , they had cameras everywhere so we always felt safe and the staff was always prepared to help us with everything.
