Wir hatten leider ein Problem mit der Toilette und der Umgang damit war wirklich sehr unschön.

Als wir das erste Mal die Spülung benutzen wollten, funktionierte diese nicht. Das ganze haben wir gegen 18.30 Uhr an der Rezeption gemeldet, dort hieß es, dass man das jetzt nicht ändern könnte. Man bat uns weder ein anderes Zimmer noch eine sonstige Lösung an, weswegen wir nach einem Eimer zum spülen verlangten. Den bekamen wir auch und am nächsten Morgen sollte jemand zum reparieren kommen.

Wir haben am nächsten Morgen vorm Frühstück gefragt, wann das ganze repariert werden könnte. Da hieß es, dass es jetzt gemacht werden würde. Als wir circa 1,5h später wieder kamen, funktionierte es immer noch nicht und wir baten erneut darum. Wir waren dann noch eine zeitlang im Hotel und es kam niemand, wir sind nachmittags an den Strand gegangen und haben erneut nach einer Reperatur gefragt und gesagt, dass wir andernfalls ein anderes Zimmer oder eine Kostenerstattung wollen. Daraufhin rief der Mann an der Rezeption sofort jemanden an und die Toilette war zwei Stunden später repariert.

Die Toilette funktionierte direkt nach der Reperatur auch, allerdings machte sie nachts direkt wieder Probleme. Nachdem spülen hat sie ewig sehr laut gegluckert / getropft und erst nach circa einer Stunde wieder aufgehört. Zwischenzeitlich musste man fünf mal drücken, um spülen zu können. Sodass wir die ganze Nacht kaum schlafen konnten. Das haben wir am nächsten Morgen beim auschecken auch noch einmal angesprochen, daraufhin folgte auch nur ein „Oh“ und keine Entschuldigung.

Dadurch hatten wir mehr als die Hälfte unseres Aufenthalts keine funktionstüchtige Toilette, was unserer Meinung nach einem absoluten Mangel des Zimmers entspricht, weswegen wir nach einem Rabatt gefragt haben. Dabei haben wir auch gesagt, dass zwei Getränke auf Haus (Kosten unter 5€) ausgereicht hätten.
Das wurde abgelehnt, ebenso wenig haben wir eine Entschuldigung erhalten.

Unfortunately, we had a problem with the toilet, and the way the hotel handled the situation was really disappointing.

When we first tried to flush the toilet, it did not work. We reported the issue to reception at around 6:30 p.m. and were told that nothing could be done about it at that time. We were neither offered another room nor any other solution, so we asked for a bucket that we could use to flush the toilet manually. We were given one, and we were told that someone would come to repair the toilet the following morning.

The next morning, before breakfast, we asked when the toilet could be repaired. We were told that it would be taken care of immediately. When we returned about 1.5 hours later, it was still not working, so we asked again for it to be repaired. We then stayed at the hotel for a while longer, but nobody came. In the afternoon, we went to the beach and once again asked about the repair. We also made it clear that otherwise we would like either another room or a refund/compensation. The man at reception then immediately called someone, and the toilet was repaired about two hours later.

The toilet initially worked after the repair, but unfortunately it started causing problems again during the night. After flushing, it made extremely loud gurgling and dripping noises for a very long time and only stopped after about an hour. At times, we had to press the flush button five times before it would actually flush. As a result, we were barely able to sleep that night. We mentioned this again when checking out the next morning. The only response we received was an “Oh”, without even an apology.

This meant that our toilet was not properly functional for more than half of our stay. In our opinion, this is a significant defect in the room, which is why we asked for a discount. We even made it clear that two complimentary drinks, costing less than €5 in total, would have been enough for us. This was refused, and we did not receive an apology either.
