Nice clean rooms with great bed and you can’t beat the location
Pros:

Breakfast was good …lots of variety

Cons:

It could have been hotter../lukewarm at best most days! Toasters were terrible!

The woodlands was a very good place to stay at.
Pros:

Being close to the visitors center and the staff was very helpful

Cons:

On the walk back from a night program and it was dark there was no lights along the walkway to see where it was or where steps were unless you used your flashlight on your phone

Great location, clean and comfortable accommodations.
Pros:

Breakfast was great, lots of options. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was very nice. This was our second stay at the property. It’s a great location and close to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. The proximity to the welcome center is awesome, especially with the free shuttle services. Will definitely book again if we are in the area.

Cons:

The rooms decor is dated. Light bulb in the bathroom was loud and half worked.

We really aren’t breakfast people but it was nice to have juice and grits ( or a waffle) before heading out to the village.

Perfect location and very comfortable hotel
Pros:

Perfect location to easily visit Colonial Williamsburg. It was easy to either walk there through a beautiful wooded path or ride the shuttle from the visitors center that is right beside the hotel.
