The location is about 5 min walk to JR Kamata train station and shopping is also very convenient because there is a big shopping mall, many restaurants and other shops are all in walking distance.

The location! Who knew Kamata had so much to offer. It’s close to the JR lines and the keikyu line that takes you to Haneda airport. It’s just such a handy location with so many restaurants and cute little shops. It almost feels like a small little town in the heart of Tokyo. In terms of the hotel, they offer daily cleaning (vacuuming, changing towels etc), there’s free laundry and microwave use. The staff can also loan you an iron and flat iron when you need it.
The general standard of cleaning is quite poor. It was incredibly dusty and the bathroom needs a thorough deep clean, especially the walls. I’ve just come to expect a higher standard of cleaning in Japanese hotels so I was taken aback by this. It’s also extremely gross that they don’t change the blanket cover and just put a sheet underneath it after each guest. I think that is incredibly unhygienic and not acceptable.
Close to Kamata station and many choices for lunch and dinner nearby. The room was clean and the laundry facilities are free to use. The room was clean and comfortable.
Lighting in the room could be brighter for working at night.
