Location is good, rooms are decent, scary events while there

Cons:

Shower flooded when we tried to have a quick shower. Toilet barely flushed. Tv remote didn’t work. Had a drunk guy banging on the door with a metal pole yelling at us to let him in.

Dangerous and cheap
Pros:

You get what you pay for and the location it was in was what I needed.

Cons:

Very disappointing experience. During the night, an individual broke into the hotel, was banging aggressively on guest room doors, yelling and screaming, and police attended. I was on the ground floor and genuinely felt trapped in my room. I didn’t sleep for the rest of the night because I no longer felt safe.

What disappointed me most was that at checkout there was absolutely no acknowledgement, apology or reassurance from staff after such a frightening incident. I understand the hotel can’t control every situation, but they can control how they look after their guests afterwards. Unfortunately, I left feeling completely let down.

Also note there is no lift to get to the other levels. If you’ve got luggage and are on a higher floor, expect to carry it up flights of stairs.
