It was a perfectly relaxing stay in a great location near the town plaza and beach.
Pros:

The grounds were beautiful. It was like vacationing in a jungle. Pool was large and clean. Our 2 bedroom apartment was perfect size for my family of 5. The AC worked great in all the rooms.

Cons:

The pool was heated a little too hot for me. The air temperature was already so hot, it would have been more refreshing to jump into a cool pool and not a warm bathtub.

Pros:

The location was nice. Next to the main store and close to the central plaza. About 6 blocks from the beach. Fairly quiet, but loud neighbors in the hotel, which seemed to not have any quiet hour. But all in all, a nice place to stay. The pool was well used by us. A few more pool toys would be appreciated.

Cons:

It could have been quieter at night. Lots of loud music and partying well into the late night, all night long.

Pros:

Perfect location, close to restaurants, the beach & the bus station. It was a short walk to the town square.
The grounds are exceptional. Beautiful gardens surround the pool. Shade or sun. BBQ 's provided.

Pros:

We didn't have the breakfast. Wasn't quite sure that it was available in fact. The room was comfortable and also had a lot of natural light. The house cleaning was very good. The temperature in the shower kept fluctuating from warm to very hot. Other than that the entire stay was very good.

Very Good Stay at Hotel Hacienda de Melaque
Pros:

The grounds were very nice, location was very good - close to the beach, restaurants and grocery store. The internet was excellent and the A/C worked well. The bed was OK but a little on the hard side.

Cons:

Our studio was a little on the small side. Would choose to stay in a one bedroom next time. Signage to the entrance was somewhat confusing.
