We will definitely stay at this property again when visiting Bar Harbor area.
Pros:

The staff was amazing. They walked us to our rooms and the rooms were large and in a very quiet area of the property. We could walk to the main downtown in about 10 minutes and it was a convenient place to keep our car while we walked around.

Ambivalente Gefühle - aber einzig preiswertes Hotel im Sommer auf Mount Desert Island!

Großen Dank an das Personal und an seine Gast- und Hilfsbereitschaft!
Wir konnten zwar nicht früher einchecken, aber unser Auto schon am Areal parken, was in Bar Harbor im Sommer eine große Erleichterung ist!
Die Lage des Inns ist ideal: Das Zentrum ist zu Fuß innerhalb von 10 Minuten erreichbar, der nächste Supermarkt nur 5 fünft Gehminuten entfernt. Gleichzeitig ist es hier abends, da nicht ganz zentral gelegen, ruhig und entspannt.
Zum Empfang bekommt man ein Gläschen Prosecco, den man auf der Veranda genießen kann.
Das Queen Anne's umfasst viele, verschiedene Zimmertypen. Es gibt die Zimmer im Haupthaus und die für sich stehenden kleinen Häuschen dahinter.
Unsere beiden Zimmer im Haupthaus waren in der untersten Etage mit Blick in den grünen Garten gelegen. Das war herrlich. Man konnte in den lauen Sommernächten bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Beide Zimmer hatten eine Jacuzzi-Badewanne und einen kleinen Balkon mit Stühlen zum Draußensitzen.
Die gesamte Anlage mit den kleinen Pfaden und süßen Lichtern ist sehr entspannt und großzügig geführt!

Cons:

Es bricht mir das Herz, das hier zu vermerken, aber es muss doch sein:
So gemütlich alles war - beide der von uns gesuchten Zimmer hatten einen sehr eigenartigen Geruch. Ich weiß nicht, ob es Mottenkugeln oder ein sehr intensives Reinigungsmittel waren, aber es hat leider den gesamten Aufenthalt in ein komisches Licht gerückt bzw. in einen komischen Geruch versetzt.
Der Teppichboden und die zu weichen Betten haben die Situation nicht wirklich verbessert.
Unsere Zimmer befanden sich in der untersten Etage und gefühlt am anderen Ende des Hauses. Es wirkte alles etwas modrig und roch nach Chlor. Direkt gegenüber von unserer Zimmertüre lag außerdem der Hinterausgang des Hotels, der nicht verschließbar war und immer offen stand.
Wir hatten einen Gasofen im Zimmer, dessen Anstarter selbst im Sommer immer auf kleinster Flamme lodern musste, was prinzipiell kein Problem ist, aber er gab unnötig Wärme ab während man die Klima extra nach unten regulieren musste...

Zwar bekommt man beim Check-in einen 1+1 Gutschein für Drinks an der Bar. Die sind allerdings leider wirklich nicht geil! Aber das macht nichts: Kommt für ein alkoholfreies Getränk und spielt eine Runde Corn Hole im Vorgarten, das macht wirklich Spaß.

Aber alles in allem: Bar Harbor ist in der Hochsaison viel zu überteuert. Das Queen Anne's Revenge überzeugt mit seiner Gemütlichkeit im bobo Rich Kids Ort und punktet mit den angemessenen Preisen!

Nice place, good ambiance. Great to have parking off the street. A bit pricey. Good location.
Pros:

Breakfast food was good, plenty of it. It was nice sitting out in the front porch enjoying the awesome weather. Place was clean.

Cons:

The mattress was horrible. Way too soft, just sunk in the middle for us. Girlfriend was unable to sleep at all the 2nd night.

Cons:

The breakfast was very poorly done. They could easily change that. For example the eggs in crockpot are served on top of the guest computer desk. Gross sad set up.

We had a very comfortable stay. The location was great. Nice quiet street only a few blocks from.
Pros:

The breakfast was the weakest point of the stay. It was the usual hotel, quick breakfast fare; yogurt, packaged bagels, scrambled eggs,juices etc. Didn't really expect more. We ate it one day and went out the following.
