Due to the EFL and FA guidelines, we must request that all guests staying in our Superior Room with Pitch View close their curtains 90 minutes prior to a home football match and throughout the remaining time of the game. Any tickets must be purchased separately if you would like to watch the match.
Please note there is an additional charge for the fitness classes.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Arrived yesterday afternoon a little early 2pm asked for early check was told not available no rooms ready till 3pm. Told to wait in the bar which we did. Came down at 3 pm reception packed and was told rooms not ready lots of people waiting and no explanation other that rooms are not ready and that they had no idea when they would be ready. Lots of frustrated people waiting. Eventually receptionist offered everyone a free drink in the bar and to come down in an hour to see if rooms were ready. Said she will see if the manager can authorise discount for everyone due to the wait (still waiting for this) eventually checked in at 830pm room was filthy bathroom smelt like we. We had a pitch room, could not see the pitch through thickness of dirt on windows (this is supposed to be the selling point) beds not comfy and thin pillows. Aircon heater not working. Was supposed to be £122 for the night it was worth about £22. I would like the discount as promised to myself and everyone else there that night. Also heard the receptionist say it was the same the day before with no rooms ready, is this a common problem?
Positives bar is lovely and staff friendly there.
Would not stay here again or recommend it.
Nice clean rooms, basic but a comfy bed!
No water in the room, id expect a bottle of water to be provided for the price paid.. woke up in the morning absolutely gasping for a drink but no water and no glasses to get a drink from the tap either, a small change that would have made a huge difference
Also no TV remote in the room

The Surber flag bar was nice with pitch view

No valance around the bottom of bed, definately needed as bed base worn and stained. Shower screen inadequate.

Booked last minute as an overnight getaway mainly to just play on the arcades and go to the seaside
Location was decent about a 10 minute walk to the beach a 10 minute walk along the beach to the arcade so 20 minutes in total not bad.
Atmosphere was quite nice especially at the corner flag bar plenty of tables everywhere we weren’t in season so it was really empty. Good selection on drinks. Food sounded nice but unfortunately we got too late to try any.
As we arrived, got told that we have been given a room upgrade to a pitch side view as we were members of the Raddison reward program nice upgrade to be fair kind of weird looking at a football pitch with no goal post.
Decent value for money I think we paid £70ish including parking, which was right outside the hotel.
Everywhere was clean and tidy. A few bits could do with the revamp like carpets and bits and bobs other than that really good.
noise level was really quite ,we did have a fire alarm test, but we were informed of that when we checked in so it didn’t come as a surprise

Clean, staff excellent. Polite, helpful, approachable, friendly. Having breakfast overlooking the football pitch ! Brilliant.
