Shower was hot and pressure great
The whole place was falling apart. $220 and all the cupboards water damaged, black dirty grout, sink tap yo low to wash your hands, handles missing on drawers, flickering lights outside.. overall very disappointing

Although a bit old the room was comfortable and serviced us well for 3 nights. Includes a washing machine so an added bonus.
We picked this motel on Booking.com because it seemed reasonably priced compared to others in Karratha (A$220 per night compared to $500 elsewhere).
The rooms were small. Parking was iffy. There was no view. One of the towels was frayed. There were no face washers.

All of it. It was dirty and unsafe

It was filthy, unhygeinic, falling apart, unsafe and noisy. Poor cleaniliness, broken smoke alarm, no maintenance.

Location behind a sport bar. Very noisy and run down. Did not feel safe there with coming and going into the middle of the night. I missed the property’s self review of 5/10.
Our expectations of our stay here weren't high to begin with due to the overall rating however, I didn't expect the place to be literally falling apart. It's easier to list the number of things that did work than begin listing the amount of things which were faulty or just plain broken.
We arrived late on a Sunday evening so didn't feel we had much choice in terms of finding alternative accommodations within budget. Considering this room was $220, I would have expected it to be at least clean. When I contacted management to highlight the issues we encountered the following day (we only stayed one night), their response was that 'a lot of people stay and don’t mind the condition.' as though this justifies not replacing basic things such as broken toilet seats, taps and mould which was everywhere and maintaining a general level of function and cleanliness.
Anyway, book somewhere else to stay even and pay a little more if it's just for the night. The way in which this has been handled by management alone is reason to not stay not to mention the condition of the place.
The communication via text was great and easy access with passcode, water pressure good.
Sliding door was broken, toilet seat was falling off, cupboard doors were broken, difficult to get into bathroom when door doesn’t open all the way, small cockroach in the bed, towels old with stains, rough area with someone in the complex fight at 2.30am in the morning.
Location handy although very noisy at times mostly coming from the beer garden behind the units
Not well maintained, towels and bath mats falling apart,whilst they had been washed had a very strong rustynwater odour.One of ournrokms wasn't ready at book in time.
