From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. In line with the Malaysia government’s decision to implement Sales and Service Tax (SST) of 6% effective 1st January 2022, this tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in.
Guest must present the same credit card used to guarantee the booking when checking in / making payment at the hotel, hotel will not accept any third party credit card.
All of our guest rooms are equipped with a Bacfree water filtration system, ensuring clean and Halal drinking water directly from the tap for your comfort and convenience.

Front office Ms Ling, Aisya, DM Wahida were super ambassadors for Royale Chulan. Lounge server Rosy was warm n recommended perfect mocktail for us.
Parking contractor were rude, useless n not worth mentioning! Royale Chulan shud reconsider their contract maintaining the parking garage. Made us wait for 30mins trying to exit the parking garage. Had it not been for the front office team of Royale Chulan, it would hv been catastrophic!

Durante la prenotazione nonostante specificato 2 adulti un bambino mi sono trovato con un letto . Mi sono stati chiesti 55 euro in più per aggiungere un letto per una ragazza di 12 anni. Chiedendo spiegazioni mi è stato detto che in malesia i bambini di 12 anni dormono con i genitori
La habitación familiar tiene 2 habitaciones y 2 baños. Lo que es muy cómodo. Tiene una piscina con muy poca gente

Good value, nice staffs quiet at night and not far from pier. Good breakfast.
Quite far from George town. The price is a little bit high.
