Great hotel in a heritage listed building
Pros:

Good location. Good and wide selection for breakfast. Clean and comfortable bed. Great staff service.

Cons:

Bathroom sink a bit stuck and slow moving. Rooms are a bit dated and likely need a refresh soon.

Die Lage ist toll und direkt im alten Stadtkern gelegen. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar z.B. Jettys, Guilia Street und Armenian Street sowie die Streetart. Der Salzwasser-Outdoor-Pool ist sehr schön. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch und bietet enorm viel Auswahl.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist sehr solide und wegen der Lage und dem Salzwasser-Pool absolut empfehlenswert. Nicht so gut war, dass auch hier einiges renoviert werden müsste und manche Dienste leider gar nicht mehr angeboten werden z.B. Spa und schneller Wäscheservice. Die Wäsche brauchte 48h. Aber das Gesamtpaket passt.

N’hésitez pas réservez à Royale Chulan Penang!
Pros:

Hotel historique de George Town, bien situé, à proximité des lieux touristiques à visiter.
Belle chambre spacieuse avec vue sur la piscine et balcon.
Tres belle piscine avec jacuzzi.
Petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix et très bon.
Le personnel est très professionnel et accueillant.

Freudige Gastgeber im Herzen des UNESCO Welterbes George Town
Pros:

Charmantes Hotel in bester Lage, um das UNESCO Weltkulturerbe George Town sowie die weitläufige Insel Penang zu erkunden. Alle Aktivitäten rund um die Altstadt haben wir zu Fuß erwandert, für längere Fahrten auf der Insel standen immer Grab-Taxis zur Verfügung. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren stets höflich und zuvorkommend. Besonders die freundliche Begrüßung an der Hoteltür hat uns beeindruckt. Der Frühstücksservice war sehr gut und das Frühstücksbüffet sehr umfassend und frisch zubereitet. Großartig waren die Köche, welche Roti und Dosa Spezialitäten auf Wunsch des Gastes individuell zubereiten. Die kurzen Gespräche über ihre Kochkunst und ihre unterschiedlichen Speisen haben uns viel Spaß gemacht. Herzliche Gastgeber zu erleben, ist auf der ganzen Welt ein tolles Erlebnis.

Cons:

Die Bar sollte mehr Aufmerksamkeit erfahren, sie wirkt aus der Zeit gefallen und lädt nicht zum Besuch ein. Die vielen dekorierten Teddybären erschließen sich in ihrer Sinnhaftigkeit nicht.
