From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. In line with the Malaysia government’s decision to implement Sales and Service Tax (SST) of 6% effective 1st January 2022, this tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in.
Guest must present the same credit card used to guarantee the booking when checking in / making payment at the hotel, hotel will not accept any third party credit card.

The rooms are comfy and location are great!
Breakfast quality (taste and freshness) has worsen from before).
Everything great with the nice ambient and smell nice when enter the lobby.
Nothing much.
We arrived at the breakfast at 9.15 and half the food was gone. We were there for 35 minutes and the only restocked fruit. Lot of people were complaining that nothing was coming out of the kitchen. The breakfast has a huge variety, if it had any left it would have been really good.

The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food from different cultures. The hotel was located in the old town a short walk from the ferry. Our room had a view of cruise ships. Good swimming pool
Only a small issue but no hand towels were provided in the bathroom
From check in to check out everything was wonderful . Nice clean big rooms with filtered water available in room . WiFi good . Salt water pool refreshing . Good variety of food at breakfast but mostly Asian . ( even an ice cream machine ) . Arslan our housekeeper was polite and tried to get our room done early and I enjoyed chatting with him . Doormen were always there to greet you . Overall staff were lovely and obviously well trained . TV a good variety of channels . Location was central walking distance to everything . Complimentary snacks in room on arrival . Great value for money.
The only negative I could find is one morning when we went to breakfast at 9am everything was empty and I had to grab a supervisor to point out that food needed to be topped up otherwise I would of given this Hotel a 10 .
Fabulous hotel housed in a historic building.
Buffet breakfast was very good.
Room was large with a small balcony from which we could see the sea.

- Iron board need replacement I guess, the material are so thin already.
Location right on the doorstep of the historic old town. Breakfast very good and varied. Studio room with sea view was spacious.
