The worst hotel experiences

There is nothing we liked because not welcoming reception! not friendly! not helpful!

We stayed at this hotel in late May, and I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

The staff were neither helpful nor friendly, and the hotel has a serious air-conditioning problem. We checked in at 4:00 PM, and the room temperature was 28°C even though the thermostat was set to 19°C. When we reported the issue to the reception desk, they told us they had just turned on the air conditioning and that it would cool down soon.

We returned to our room at 10:00 PM, after the air conditioner had been running for six hours, and the temperature was still 27.5°C. The room felt more like a sauna than a hotel room. We could not sleep at all that night because of the heat.

We asked to change rooms, but we were told that all rooms were at a similar temperature. At 10:30 PM, the reception staff offered to refund our stay and suggested that we find another hotel. By then it was very late, we were exhausted, and finding another hotel was not a realistic option. Instead, we agreed to stay in exchange for a partial refund.

The next day they moved us to another room, but it had the same problem. To make matters worse, the promised partial refund was never provided.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The management failed to address a major issue, the staff were unhelpful, and promises that were made were not honored. Do not trust the descriptions or assurances given by this hotel. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise travelers to stay elsewhere.

Pros:

Fantastic hotel in a great location—just steps from Via Montenapoleone and only a 10-minute walk to Duomo. The hotel is very clean, stylish with all necessary facilities even haitstyler. The room included a minibar, a good coffee machine, and complimentary breakfast snacks, which was a nice touch. 

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff were wonderful.

I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.
