Two Working Weeks in Addis
Pros:

Dependable choice with airport shuttle, full gym that has extended hours with a steam sauna and massage facilities. The breakfast is rather similar and tedious but attempts at variations were made. Coffee was excellent in the morning. Laundry service was same day. The body wash and lotions provided were a huge improvement on quality compared to the past.

The spa services were professional and my masseuse Mahalet was amazing. The cost is also very reasonable.

Across the road there is a Forex, small minimart for some essentials and many quality leather shops

Cons:

My room could be a little dark with adjacent high rise. No mosquito nets on the windows meant it was difficult to leave them open to air out the room. The shower holder was placed quite high for me to reach without a precarious climb. I didn’t use the swimming pool as I watched the colour change from blue to turbid green so not sure how reliably the water quality in the pool is.

i would recommend the hotel anytime to anyone visiting Addis Ababa.
Pros:

The reception was excellent. Upon explaining to them that i was staying in the hotel for more than a week, they offered to upgrade me from a standard room to a junior suite.

Pros:

It was a business trip, so I booked five single rooms. The accommodation in part B was better than expected, requests were handled immediately. Extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Perfect cleanliness. Very comfortable beds. Quiet at night (see below).
A wide selection of breakfast options, the chef prepared omelettes on request, many types of delicious pastries, etc.
We got our rooms the morning after our arrival and checkout was moved to 7 p.m. The hotel manager really understands his job and is able to accommodate his guests.

Cons:

Two rooms were facing a very busy street, but upon request they were changed to quiet rooms the same day.
The air conditioning was not working in some bathrooms.
I love watermelon but there are other fruits too :-)
Very small selection of TV programs, but that is probably a problem of a developing country.
Only one elevator for ten floors, which is used by staff with loads, the second elevator was not working
