Our room was near the courtyard so it could be a bit loud at night, but overall sound was not too bad.
El hotel es hermoso y la "joyita" de La Joyita, son los chilaquiles de crema de chipotle. RIQUISIMOS!!
Es la cuarta ocasión que me hospedo en éste hotel y siempre ha sido genial, pero en esta ocasión el mesero que nos atendió nunca estuvo al pendiente de lo que necesitábamos. Estuvo ausente prácticamente todo el tiempo y eso que mi pareja y yo, eramos los únicos comensales hospedados en ese momento.
Hemos tenido la oportunidad de ser atendidos por otros dos meseros que siempre están al pendiente, se acercan a preguntar si nos falta algo, recogen los trastes que ya no utilizamos y eso es lo que uno espera de un mesero, ni más ni menos. No necesito especificar quién es quien, pues la recepcionista recibió mi queja y sabe a quien me refiero.
Espero que hagan algo al respecto, pues ese tipo de actitud y de atención no refleja lo que es el hotel en si. En serio no espero menos de la administración del hotel. Me gustaría hospedarme por quinta ocasión y ser atendido como lo habían hecho anteriormente y no como esta última vez.
Our room was very large, comfortable and well serviced. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed the pool and garden. It was convenient to have a restaurant on the property and the food was well presented.
The rooms are all centred around a seating area for the restaurant and the pool area and could be a bit noisy at times.

The hotel is rustic in a charming way. The courtyard, pool and gardens are beautiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
The restaurant is configured with tables on the covered porch, located directly in front and against the hotel room windows. The rooms are not at all soundproof.
A group enjoying what appeared to be a family reunion, with a fussy child, conversed after dinner until close to 11 pm in front of my room. I would never interfere with family fun, but would have appreciated if after a reasonable hour, maybe 10 pm, that the staff might have asked them to relocate to tables outside their accommodations, on the other side of the courtyard.
Yes, I would return to La Joyita, however I would look for a room away from my courtyard area.

Beautiful, represents Mexican culture in avery good way. The staff was super nice and helpful and the food was delicious. It was quiet and peaceful.

The grounds are stunning. Simply beautiful. The staff is welcoming and super helpful. The young man at the front desk (who spoke perfect english) was so helpful. He found us a driver, and he communicated with a local spa to book us appointments. In every way, he was super professional. The restaurant has great food and service. The locals even come to eat here.

Literalmente es para descansar!! Es para levantarse tarde, nadar, comer en su restaurante. Estar muy muy tranquilo
Todo estuvo excelente, solo que las mesas donde estan desayunando las personas estan pegadas a la ventana de las habitaciones. Y a veces no es posible despertar mas tarde por que te despiertan los ruidos que hacen.
WARNING if you are looking for a place to relax, this place is a scam. It’s beautiful, but nothing works. They will give you a room where you can hear absolutely everything outside and they will SEAT people having breakfast literally outside of where you are sleeping. My husband and I were taking a shower and the people having breakfast outside could see inside and hear everything. Jacuzzi doesn’t work at all and when we tried to use the pool they were setting up for a party or whatever (noise, noise and more noise). It’s more like an event space than a hotel. We finally got fed up when they were blasting music on a Sunday at 9:40pm and decided to leave.
Do not stay here if your intention is to have privacy and relax, there are better places in Cuernavaca.
Beautiful place, extremely great and friendly service, and there was always someone around who understood my English and bad Spanish! Meals were extra, and all very delicious and interesting. My king room was large, lots of space in the bathroom and closets. Unlike some others have reported, I thought the 15-20 minute walk to the historic center during the daylight hours was fine (but I love to walk).
The only thing I didn't like was that the music they played went until later into the evening and could be heard in my room. But it always stopped before I went to bed, so never disturbed my sleep.
