Spacious rooms, helpful and friendly staff, walking distance to most points of interest, fenced in parking & mini-kitchen incl. coffee - all the basics for a good, value-oriented price for such a centrally located hotel.
Like New Orleans itself, the hotel could use some polishing, but this is quite in line with the overall vibe and state of most things in the city. It is simply somewhat old and "antique-y" and that is part of the charm, but one must accept that some things have a little bit of a run-down feel. This pervades most places in New Orleans, frankly, and yet we had a wonderful time.

Very convenient, on bus and hop on bus route, very clean and spacious, coffee machine, great hot water, blocks from French Quarter center. Will stay again!

Everything was clean, the ammenities were good, and the beds were comfortable, and most things were within walking distance. Would stay there again.
The main road was a bit loud at night.
I was thrilled when I saw 2 separate rooms with large beds. It had a large living room with sofa, chairs, table, and a large TV. It also had a kitchen and a nice bathroom. It was just like an apartment. Extremely clean and comfy. Enjoyed the balcony with the table and chair seating. 2 pools and staff that's enjoyable and welcoming. All and all very pleased and truly surprised...
Elevator was small but usable.
The suite was very comfortable and, perhaps surprisingly, very quiet given it was near a large road.
Any issues, of which there were very few, were dealt with quickly & professionally.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
For me a MAJOR benefit was that the deposit was returned immediately at checkout. Many other places take “up to 10 working days”. I’m afraid this annoys me & in future will be a deal breaker.

These are suites, they do not provide breakfast. There is coffee pod machines in the room. They do provide coffee pods and prepackaged accessories. ie 1 sugar packet, 1 sweetener packet, 1 powdered creamer packet, a napkin and a stir stick. I suggest you bring or purchase extra if you drink more than 1 cup of coffee a day. Also provided, A large refrigerator with 2 freezer doors underneath, a microwave, a toaster, a 2 burner flat top stove and a table with 4 chairs. In the sitting room was a sofa, 2 end tables, a coffee table, wall mounted TV and a table good for dropping off your keys, bags, whatever you come through the door with. The bedroom came with a queen sized bed 2 side tables a nice large closet and a wall mounted TV. The bathroom was updated with a full sized walk in shower, standard toilet and sink and a small table for toiletries, There is an elevator and a pool. For an additional cost per night, they have onsite parking. There is a gas station next door that sells yummy fried chicken.
The pool needed a vacuuming and skimming. There is a large Live Oak on the other side of the fence losing leaves. The cost of parking I thought was a bit high. They are not responsible for loss or damages. They do not valet. I think half of what they charge per night would be reasonable.

It was just on the outskirts of the French quarter. There was someone at the check in desk all of the time. Shower water was hot
The elevator was down and there were no luggage carts. Water pressure was low. Toilet had a slow leak from floor.
