Cons:

The mattress springs were sticking into me , did not sleep well , room 22 ???? woke up cold needed an extra blanket , and woken by drunk people on balcony. Apart from that love staying at the Metro.

I felt safe and comfortable and enjoyed the pub vibe with live music and fireplaces inside and out.
Pros:

Friendly helpful staff. Clean spacious showers excellent water pressure. Comfy bed with a great heater.

Cons:

A kettle to boil water for my hot water bottle or a to make cup of tea. Complimentary teabags and or coffee with a little milk in fridge with maybe a biscuit.

The sheets were clean, there was an extra blanket and a heater

Cons:

Dragging my suitcase up two massive flights of stairs. The lack of help by the staff, the room had nothing except a single bed, wardrobe, table and bar fridge - that was it. The lighting was exceptionally bad - change the bulb!!!! It would better described as backpacker accom. I wouldn't stay again.

It was OK for the night.
Pros:

Quiet in the hallways.
It felt like pub accommodation.
No noise from downstairs.

Cons:

Too much street lighting, room needs proper black out curtains.
Street noise a little annoying, double glazing would be good for rooms with windows onto the street.
Maybe a small desk and chair.
More clothing hooks, if no cupboards.
